My parents used this bank so I did too. I even set up an account up for my own child. But after plenty of bad experiences I closed my child's account & took her savings elsewhere.

I recently switched banks hoping this one would be better than my last one and I’ve had nothing but problems with them so far. I took out a car loan with them and purchased an out of state vehicle which took them a week to finish paperwork on only for them to raise the APR on the final paperwork an extra 2% which was ridiculous, but at that point I had no other option to go through them. They’ve rejected transactions many times when I had the money in my account and have charged me multiple times on one transaction only for the help on the line to be condescending and having to wait 10 days for that money back into my account. So disappointed in this bank. Don’t recommend.

ATM never works. Only one ATM in the town of Albany. Will be changing banks for sure.

Horrible credit union. I set up a checking because a friend told me they were pretty decent. Not even close. Had my info stolen and my account went negative, so they closed my account. I was forced to go into this branch to make a payment on my car loan, where I was told basically they can’t do anything and that the card I’m paying with cost an extra 15 dollars because of something with visa (I’ve worked for a bank, so really they are just charging 15 so they can make an extra buck). Whatever supervisor that was brought out was useless. Wish I would have stuck with Chase. At least they were willing to help. Crazy that a big bank will do more than the local credit union.

If you want anything other than a basic checking account GO ELSEWHERE!!! They won't do wire transfers but will charge you for one!!! We sold our house and moved out of state and were told to access out funds we had to go in to a branch. SUPER UNHELPFUL and UNWILLING to do basic banking practices. You should have seen the looks on other bankers faces when we told them they don't do wire transfers. Then we were told after we updated our address they wouldn't send counter checks for 30 days. We finally got one person to at least help with that. We have been with them for over 10 years and I was blown away by their inept practices. They made the whole experience completely miserable!!!! Who travels with that kind of cash, well no one who's smart that is. That would have been our option if we wanted full access to our money. I wouldn't recommend them to ANYONE!!! Check elsewhere if you want a bank who actually functions like a bank.

Worst branch sitting at drive through for 15 minutes only 1 teller ridiculous ?

They need more tellers they have one teller working on a Monday and one teller working in the drive-through. I really don’t have a sense of urgency at all they just slowly take their time and I think it’s ridiculous if there’s people waiting the branch Manager can used her teller drawer how about instead of watching the lane get longer and closer to the front door the front door

So tired of this place. They usually have one teller working the 3 drive ups. And don’t bother using the night deposit box for checks…… I usually have to call to ensure it gets deposited. Once again today…. Trying to find out if they plan on depositing our check before bills are due…. 30 min + wait time when you call. Absolutely ridiculous.Update: since I can’t respond to their comment…. I’m not sitting on hold and wasting more of my time to speak with the branch manager. Was the 30+ minute wait time part of my review overlooked? The line of cars constantly reaching the mall parking lot is evidence enough for anybody with eyes that this place is not running efficiently. ??♀️

How great is it for a credit union to take the rest of the week off for thanksgiving day? I need to find somewhere else to bank with

I have been trying to make my first payment for a vehicle I financed for 9 days. Tomorrow is the ending of my 10 day grace period. After being reassured more than once that everything has gone through imagine the surprise to find no withdrawal has been made from my account. There was a short time in this process that I thought everything had worked out only to find my payment reversed 2 days later.

I don't think my experience reflects the service of the this particular branch, but the online banking is a joke! Logins don't work: they are "experiencing technical difficulties" or "something went wrong!" and "please try back later". They never recognize the same device I always use, do not recognize my phone as having texting capabilities so provide a code through a robotic message that is so garbled you can't understand the numbers being given. Today I answered the phone to get the code and when I hit # to receive it, it tells me "that is not a valid extension". Seriously? I wanted to link this account to my primary banking account (at another credit union) to be able to electronically transfer funds. They require the standard information and transfer two small amounts which you report back as verification. Did that. Went to transfer $1,000 only to find the daily limit is $500, so I transferred that amount. The next day, instead of seeing the expected transfer I see a new transfer of less than $1.00. Why? It's already been verified. Why hasn't the money been transferred? This organization is technically inept when it comes to online banking. I have been with my other Oregon credit union for over a year and they handled transfers from the sale of my house electronically from an out of state bank with absolutely no issues. I cannot recommend this credit union at all for electronic banking. Could I give it a negative star, I would. Just pathetic!
