I just had the most exceptional customer service at Lowe's in Albany, Oregon. We had a very large order waiting for pickup and there was a problem with our banking institute so the order could not be released. This started 2 days ago and Sara, who I assume is a supervisor, stepped forward and helped in ways I never seen happen in any store before. She not only told me what had to be done, got on my phone and talked to the person I was dealing with, even offered me some ice water while waiting as it was in the 100's. I was told the order would be ready for pick up the next day so when I arrived I figured everything was set. Ashleigh, at the pro desk, was very helpful but needed some confirmation on things and low and behold guess who showed up to get the transaction done -Sara. She handled everything in a timely manner and showed so much compassion. I highly recommend a big raise and promotion for this gal. She was fabulous. Thank you Sara, Ashleigh and the loading crew!

Ordered 2 hanging flower pots. Waited over a week for delivery only to find one was missing the hanging hardware. After repeated calls (half hour on hold each time) to them and PROMISES (3 times!) someone would call me back within 24 hours - never happened. Last call I was told they were shipping me a new pot, and it would arrive in a week or so. So much hassle and run-around, sorry I did business with them!

We had two very nice people help us with getting our washer and dryer and helping us to load it up. And if I could leave a review based on them solely it would be a 5. But when I got up front to check out there were zero open registers which I'm assuming is due to being short staffed, no big deal I don't mind going to uscan. So I scan all my stuff while this lady stands right behind me watching my every move and so I go to pay only to look all around for a place for cash and the lady says 'it's card only.' Well it would be nice if they had any sort of sign that said that so I could've avoided scanning all my stuff only to be told I would have to go somewhere else. So when I asked 'how do I pay cash then' she took her finger and pointed over to customer service. That was it. No oh they can help you over there, I can help you move your stuff, I can help you cancel your order. Nothing. All the while I had a very upset toddler by my side. So I left my stuff and walked out. Solely based on her attitude and demeanor we will not go back to that Lowe's.

The guy in plumbing got snarky with me when I pushed the help button..."Jesus Christ!", he says, "Im right here!" Sorry I don't recognize every staff member on sight. The cashier was nice and polite when I finally got to her, but at first it was self-checkout only, and then only if you used a card. If you wanted to use cash, you went over and stood in line with the one lonely cashier at Customer Service. These guys have slipped bad and I will be finding a new hardware store.

My husband and I ordered fence paneling, On April 22, we were guaranteed delivery on May 9th. Well come May 6th, I called to confirm delivery, because the money was back in our account. The MANAGER told me no problem we are still scheduled for delivery on May 9th. Well, instead of visiting my Mother on Mother's Day, we waited for the fence paneling that never came. I called Monday morning (May 10th) we were told, and I quote "The truck broke down, what you need to do is cancel the order and order from another store." I said no, we will wait for these panels. I called back May 14th and was told were were scheduled for deliver on May 16th and they took the money from my account, I called again to find out what day it will be delivered, only to be told someone would call us back. Finally right before 5 pm we had a call to tell us THEY canceled our order because they NO longer had the panels. Had I not call to check on delivery NO-ONE would have told us that THEY took it upon themselves to cancel the order and return our money. We then placed an order with Home Depot, we delivered the panels with in ONE week! It is a shame that Lowe's treated a Disabled Veteran in this manner! Lowe's just lost a loyal customer, we will be doing our remodeling with Home Depot!

My husband & I have been looking around for a good basin faucet in Corvallis hardwares. It was frustrating that we couldn't find a good one until we saw the faucet we wanted in your website. So we drove to Lowe's Albany on January 11, 2021. It was easy to find the Moen faucet, but then we wanted to make sure that we have the specifications we needed. There were counters a few feet away with 2 staff working, an elderly man and a lady. We were standing in front waiting for them to look at us. I said "Hello" twice, but we didn't get any attention. Until after about 10 minutes, the lady looked at me. I said we have some inquiries. She approached us and assisted us in searching the specifications in Moen's website. The specs were clear enough but we wanted to make sure. So I asked her, "Is it alright to open the box to check the parts we needed? We came all the way from Corvallis, it's rather a long way, we don't want to be driving back to make an exchange or return." The lady looked at me so sharply while she pulled the box towards her like she was upset. I was about to react like, "If it's a policy that boxes shouldn't be opened, just tell us and that would be okay." But I controlled myself while she was still looking at me while opening the box. I believe we deserve a pleasant accommodation trusting Lowe's as one of the best stores. Yet our bad experience, we quickly went ahead to pay the product, and said a pleasant "thank you" to the lady who went back to her area to work while we were checking the faucet. We went to Store: 3057 Terminal: 08 01/11/21 11:10:44

I ordered a door, a window and accessories via the Lowes website. According to the website, delivery was free over $45 - well, folks, the invoice shows a deliver fee of $94 - for a $211.00 door! Almost half again as much, and that when we expected "free delivery." then, it turns out, that I have to pick up the window and some of the accessories from the nearest store - even though they are delivering the door - for some reason putting the other items in that order is not possible. So, we have now added a couple of hours driving to Lowes and picking these things up and hoping the window will fit in my car, since we don't have a truck. Although, had I known about the outrageous delivery charge in advance, I could have paid someone to drive over in his truck and pick up everything. Oh, and then without a phone call or text or anything, we got a phone call that a delivery service had stopped by to leave the door - but we weren't home, as we didn't know a delivery was going to happen - and couldn't reschedule it. But, wait, there's more. Part of the order is going to be "shipped." The door knob and lock and one other thing. Why is this separate? And when does it arrive? We can't install the door without the hardware? Or can we? And what does shipped mean, as opposed to "delivery?" So, one order has 3 different means of getting the products to us, and an unacceptable charge has been made as well. And a couple hours of driving time, possibly having to pay someone to use a truck to make the pickup. I then spent 25 minutes on hold this morning, trying to reach someone to get this fixed - and finally hung up without talking to anyone, as this is beginning to be a huge time sink - and we still don't have any of our products. I will try again later - when I have an hour or so to hang around waiting. We specifically chose Lowes, as we boycott Home Depot because they support Trump financially. So, we don't use Home Depot, we are no longer going to consider Lowes - and now I'm going to be on the phone finding alternatives locally, which obviously I should have done in the first place. Incidentally, this issue with Lowes is our second encounter and also was unsatisfactory and we ended up cancelling that order - but we decided that we'd give them a second chance. Our first encounter with Lowes was flooring for our 1900 sq ft house. We picked out the flooring, arranged payment for the flooring and installation (over $10,000) - then found out that there were all kinds of problems, and it would cost untold amounts more money to get the job done. And we were expected to move 1900 sq ft of flooring into the house from where it was being delivered - the garage - by ourselves - Lowes would not do it. We are in our 70s! We cancelled that order, and found someone else who did the job for the $10,000, including the cost of the flooring and other things - and moving the flooring into the house. Also including reusing the original molding - which Lowes refused to do. I do not recommend Lowes for any products that require delivery - I guess it might be okay for any products that you can walk in, pick up, and walk out with. And even then, be careful what you get and what you can do about it if it is a problem. I want to support Lowes, as their hiring policies are open to handicapped workers, they contribute to the local communities, and appear to be friendly - but obviously this is an illusion if you actually are buying things from them - friendly isn't what you get. No photos, as there isn't anything to provide photos of!

Great selection and good competition For Home Depot? Curbside pickup isn't answering the phone, been here 15 minutes. They're letting people in without face masks and that's against the law right now, even seen workers not wearing them, nothing engorced

We went to get a variety of gardening supplies. When we needed to get a particular kind of compost that was high up, we went and found someone to help us. He went to get someone from lumber to assist us and never returned. We were also asked by 3 other employees if we needed help and they reassured us the person with the forklift was loading up an order and would be with us when he was done. 20 minutes later, we watched the driver of the forklift walk off and no one came back to assist us. So we are headed to a different gardening center to purchase our items.

First of all. I can't speak for everyone. But the times I've been here at Lowe's I've never been helped or approached to see if I needed help. I wonder thru the store feeling like a lost kid. And when I do find what I'm looking for , well by that time I'm frustrated. Not a good experience for me!
