They want to get eBay prices especially on electronics but sad to say they price things HIGHER than eBay. Found something today they had priced at 39.99 used on an item that sells for 20 brand New online. I know you don’t like re-sellers but that’s half your business OR MORE! get used to it or lose business and lots of money.

This store wants $50 for a 12 year old computer monitor that isn't even hdmi. It's insane to me considering they get all of there items for FREE!

Great selection of things and they had tons of brand new toys in boxes for half the price of retail value. Bottom line goodwill is going to have goodwill prices, every goodwill is pretty much the same so pack ur wallet coming here. Teen challenge is still the most affordable hands down with great items.

I don't know if prices are set at each individual store, but someone needs a reality check. I'm going through raggedy pants marked at $12.99 when I can get brand new clothes at Costco for the same price and $9.99 when they have a coupon. If you want to move some merch, you need to lower your prices 50%.

Another disappointment ? free donations should NEVER be priced for what I can buy brand new at Ross! I never recommend shopping here because if you are recovering from life and the natural disasters, Goodwill will leave you feeling hopeless and more defeated than you did when you walked in. It’s just as bad as St. Vincent second hand stores. The one thing that makes this place a little better that St. Vincent is the cleanliness of it. That’s about the only positive thing I have on this store.I hope this place gets better for future shoppers.

The first thing you notice upon entering this Goodwill location is the organization of the store. It is well organized and easy to locate specific areas. They have a nice selection of books, DVDs, clothing, shoes, accessories, and other miscellaneous items.The downside of Goodwill is the prices. They are way too high for thrift store shopping, especially since the items have been donated. It is really difficult for me to justify paying most of these prices for used items. I often find it to be cheaper to purchase items brand new from the department stores.I haven't experienced any rude or demeaning staff members at this location. They have all been friendly and helpful. The store is normally clean, well stocked, and organized. It appears that the employees generally take pride in the appearance of this Goodwill location.Overall, I struggle with recommending Goodwill due to the high prices. However, you can find a couple deals at times while browsing the store. Goodwill does offer some good programs for the community.

This continues to be my favorite thrift store in Albany I tried to add some examples of reasonably priced vintage items I've found over the past year. Some worth more than 10x what I paid. The glass section is my favorite and there are always new gems being stocked so even if you go daily (which i do sometimes) there's always something new. The employees are phenomenal! I see how difficult customers can be at times but they still remain super sweet and help wrap all my breakables in paper before I leave. The layout is clean and dependable. The bathrooms also well maintained (which if you're an avid thrifter you know it's important lol) I think it's difficult to get a good grasp of the environment of stores from single experiences so I hope this helps fellow thrifters or sellers know that it's worth taking a look here! I will say the worst part about this store is the customers who don't listen to workers or know thrifting etiquette or common rules of the flow of traffic BUT none of that is the stores doing and all human error lol

Worst customer service at any of the goodwill I’ve been too! Was yelled at by an employee cause we missed read a price tag on a price of furniture. Have had multiple problems other times. Just done with this location.

While I rarely ever see a half off tag on the floor, I'm blown away by the organization of this location. It doesn't always have the best options, the books are actually alphabetical and the plus size clothing is broken down into sizes instead of all being lumped together. Incredibly friendly staff, I just wish the dressing room was open more often

The prices are comparable to me stuff at the store. At the store I get a warranty not disrespected trying to return something broken because someone there didn't do there job

This is the neatest goodwill I’ve ever been in. All the clothes were color coded and neatly organized. Only complaint is the dressing room smelled pretty stanky

This Goodwill store is a good one, prices are like all others with many items priced to high for used and donated to them. It is not as crowded as some are which makes shopping easier and the young staff have at least been taught customer service as they SHOULD be! Therefore, I'll rate this one a 5.

Prices are not great and selection can be spotty but if you hunt you may find a good bargain. That said for some reason they had a TON of wedding dresses and so maybe if you are getting married and are not sure it’s going to last get your wedding dress here instead of giving it to here.

First time in this goodwill. It is okay, plenty of deals to be had depending on what you are looking for. Not a great selection of the items we were in search of it is like anything when you are searching for a particular item it is very hard to find. Most of the items were in good shape the prices are a hit and miss as always. We are in an overpriced economy at the moment, and everyone is jumping on the expensive train. Thrift stores need to remember you do not need to price everyone out of the market you are getting your item for free and in turn most of the time marking them higher than what you can get them for new!
