This is the third time in two days I've tried to pick up the nailer we left for repair months ago. They were supposed to call with an estimate. They didn't call us at all. I finally called there. They couldn't find it even though the repair company said they shipped it almost a month ago. Two days ago they called to say they found it in a salesmanship truck.. Now two days in a row they have not been open during the posted (reducedhours on the door. While I was waiting to see if someone showed, one of their trucks drove in. Ten more minutes he sat in his truck talking on the phone. I had to leave for another appointment Unfortunately I need the nailer back, or I would never set foot in there again! Since I live in Scio, I'll have to try again Monday

A curbside pickup storefront is just as useless as ordering specialty items online, only worse.

I don’t know if all the Fastenal branches are this bad, but the one in Albany is awful!!! I have placed some larger orders through them in the past and have been completely burned. I swore I would never order from them again, but much to my better judgement I did. I didn’t think ordering some 3/8” brass washers would be all that difficult for them to provide. WRONG!!!! So I ordered these washers and instead of getting the 3/8” I ordered, I get 5/16” washers. So, naturally they don’t have the 3/8” in stock. “We’ll next day them to you”. “We have some at another location”. Next day rolls around (Friday), no washers. So Monday rolls around, no washers. Tuesday rolls around, no washers. We all know when UPS says next day, it’s next day. Today is now Wednesday morning I desperately need my washers that have been paid for through our company’s procurement weeks ago. To make a long story short, if you need something don’t count on Fastenal!!! Try somewhere else.
