Your typical scum collection agency

I called in to get help with garnishing or collecting on a judgment. Unfortunately they weren't able to take my case due to the company not being in business anymore- but the gal I spoke with was so helpful and nice. She explained what next steps I needed to take to try to garnish a bank account and was honest with what the options were. I greatly appreciate the honesty and help. I highly recommend this company and would definitely use their services again.

I found out about a debt in 2019. I called this company to pay the debt in full. The man who I spoke to on the phone was very smug and refused to take my money. Shortly after I spoke to credit collection services in albany oregon, they got a court judgment against me without my knowledge. They would have had to lie to the judge, because I made a good faith effort to pay the debt in full.Skip ahead 4 years to 2023, they zeroed out all my bank accounts (including rent already paid) via garnishment. Then they garnished my bank account again the day after Christmas. They refused to take my payment, lied to a judge, then waited for 4 years of interest to pile up before collecting the debt. When I recently called to figure out what is going on, the woman who answered the phone at credit collection services albany oregon told me that no man has worked there in over 20 years. These people are lying evil scum.

they filed paperwork for small claims, I paid it promptly and in full working with Renee Adams and she said I would get proof of payment. that was two weeks ago and still no proof, now I received a second letter requesting payment from another place for the same bill, called Renee she verified it was paid, yet said it was the same place and once again that she would send me a signed receipt????

This Corporation is so devious that they only keep records that they printed out a letter but they don't prove they mailed anything. It's also obvious that they stalk the people that they are collecting from because both times they took me to court on days that I left for research trips exactly on the day I left. Therefore when I got back from both of my research trips I was greeted by a garnishment and a court order that was done while I was out of the country and with no notice to me.

They set up a payment plan for me instead of resubmitting my case for garnishment and I appreciate it more than you know. I just wish it would show on my credit that I'm paying it.

They will take you money out of you bank with out any notice. So if you have to pay them. I advice do not give them your bank information thy leave you with nothing. My power has been shut off because they took ever bit of money from my account.

That would be SENSE of entitlement... But thanks for patronizing everyone and leaving a fraudulent review!

The filed paperwork with my employer for garnishment of an alleged lawsuit. I moved form Oregon 8 years prior and had no knowledge of being sued. I accepted that maybe I did owe $1400 dollars for a bill and didn't worry about it. They ended up being overpaid $153 and didn't offer to send it back, instead they filed ANOTHER garnishment with exactly the same case # asking for another $331.77. My employer, being headquartered in Missouri, assumes I owe this debt and refuses to ignore what looks like to them a court order. CCSI is committing fraud pure and simple and because I live in Nebraska, they know I can't afford to fight them.

My client received a notice that her outstanding bill was sent to them for collection. They were really good about letting us set up a reasonable payment plan.
I agree that collection agencies get a bad rep. They are only doing their job. It's unfortunate that most people don't see it that way.

I just love how everyone bags on Collection Agencies. I just thought I would give them an excellent rating because so many people in our society have such a sence of entitlement they refuse to take responsibility for them selves. I have also been collected on by this agency. They worked to collect a debt that I did not pay. They can't be blamed for my ignorance.
