I traded my phone in for a credit advertised to me for $1000 dollars at a corvallis location AT&T. I went to drop the phone off at this albany location to receive my credit. When I turned the phone over the manager John Carlile he looked the devise and devalued my devise to a maximum vallue of $800. Beware of this store I lost money simply because I brought it to this prick. Avoid this location at all costs if you want the staff to take advantage of you then blame other stores for looking out for the customers interest rather then scamming people out of money. His response was absolute trash and told me some stores are more lenient when it comes to trade ins. You would think that a chain would make sure to avoid blaming other stores as an excuse and be more loyal to long standing costumers. I will be going back to the corvallis store to handle my business from now on and be sure not to give your money to John at all costs. After this experience I have spent 6 plus hours on the phone with at&t and been told a different story by every representative I have spoken too. I will take my business somewhere else even if it means I buy all my devices back and go trade those in to the competition. The worst part here is that I have now verified that this dude simply checked the wrong box and won't admit to his mistake and had every chance to help but rather blamed another store. As a costumer the last thing I want to hear is that I am wrong and that I was misled by a store but I have to pay the pric either way. I will be going to the rabbit whole to get one of these stores to admit fault and I will.keep trying and updating my horrible experience as it unfolds. The one thing I can say for sure is to obviously avoid the store that puts the companies interest above the clients they serve. Aside from this the guy was rude and lied to me about the factory being able to give me more money then he quoted if they deem he devise undamaged. I confimred that they will only give me up to the price that was stated on the receipt and that he basically went out of his way to disregard what I was telling him about my credit and assure me it would be okay. Well thank you for wasting my time and taking my money. I will be avoiding this type of poor quality of service in the future by taking my business somewhere else. I am contacting the corporate office to file a formal complaint about this service and the way I was treated. Maybe John will think trice before choosing to give excusses and balme other stores rather then hide behind the counter when it comes to bight him later. Shout out to AT&T on 9ths st in corvallis who is not an authorized dealer but will ensure to help you navigate AT&Ts nightmare of a system.

Jack saved my day today! Had a miscommunication with another associate about the oldest model of phones they'll accept for trade-ins (I don't think it was his fault, maybe it changed from S8 to the 9 pretty recently), but Jack and everyone else in the store today were super helpful and got my upgrade all squared away. Thank you Jack!!

I have had some positive experiences at this store, but dealing with Adrian was not a positive experience. He was caught in several lies when we bought our new phones, but all he could do was deflect and blame it on everyone else. If he was the only one working when I went back, I would leave until another employee was working. He needs trained on not only knowing information and costs about phones, but how to be honest as well. Extremely disappointing experience dealing with him.

My phone was messed up and I went to 3 AT&T stores and ONLY this store ACTUALLY HELPED! Adrian fixed my phone within 5 min. Great customer service! Definitely coming back

My wife has been trying to get her dads deceased phone turned off. First they said she needed to bring her dads phone in..she did at great inconvenience. now they say she must drive to Salem and they can’t help her. Very rude and unhelpful place wouldn’t take my worse enemy to this place. They threatened to call 911 when she started cussing something she rarely does. She had already tried to do it with the 611 number

Worst customer service I have ever had in any business, anywhere, on two separate occasions. My father passed away, I went into the store asking for help to cancel his account. They refused to help, said call 611 or go to corporate store after I'd driven over an hour to go in with all my paperwork. I asked them to assist me calling 611 in store. They refused. When I got angry, they told me to leave. The other occasion a year ago, same employee, same lack of help. I will never use ATT after these experiences.

We had great customer service at the store. New to AT&T. Got fed up with Verizon screwing us on our bill. Was with Verizon since 2007 and my bill was over $300 a month. Went in to AT&T because our phones got hooked up to my wife's phone and hers to mine. The manager took time to help us and actually cared. AT&T customer service over the phone is a joke. I could not understand the lady on the line and as on hold for over and hour. We got disconnected at the end and our service was disconnected. AT&T Albany really helped us out. Thank you for all you did for us.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a clean store and a "Welcome in, how can I help you!", from an Associate named Jack! He was friendly, knowledgeable and answered all my questions with a smile on his face. He was eager to make sure I got everything I needed and even thanked me for coming in when I left. I'll definitely be coming back to this location.
