Great option for the home owner that wants the right equipment for a job that they only need done on rare occasions. The staff is usually very helpful. I rented a wood chipper and it got clogged because the wood I was chipping was so wet. So I went back to the store and they showed me how to fix it and I still had enough time to get back home and finish the job.

Don't do business there. Horrible people. Worst customer service ever

The rudest most condescending people I’ve ever meet!. The old equipment was not a big deal because price was right . If I weren’t retire wouldn’t rent the old stuff in the past as it looks extremely poor to customers. Will never rent from them again. Sunbelt rental is worth the extra expense just to be treated well and new equipment that works as it should!

The appliance cart straps were all tangled and we couldn't use it but paid ahead of time and when we returned it and told them of our problem with it there was no offer of a refund due. This is not the first time we had an issue with them. My husband didn't want me to rent from them at all but where else in town was I going to get one? They are very close to where we live and they are very nice to you.

Ever see the movie Trainspotting? That's what their restroom looks like. Literally the most disgusting toilet I've ever seen. Someone's mamma failed teaching these boys how to clean. Other than that, they have a good selection and decent prices.

Love this place! It is so easy and convenient to get the tools I need for jobs around the yard. Items are usually in stock, reasonably priced and they get you in and out quick.

I rented a large skid steer and trailer to haul it with. The crew answered questions, loaded and gave great assistance. The equipment worked well and the whole process was easy.

Price was reasonable and equipment was available and in good working order. Would have been nice to know ahead of time: Equipment came on a trailer (Didn't expect that for small tiller that could have fit in my pick-up), also operating instructions. A quick run-through would have been nice instead of leaving it to the customer to figure out the directions located on the equipment (very brief).

It is places like Albany Rentals, or perhaps people such as those employed therein, that make me wonder why I work tirelessly in any arena, to help fellow humans in need. I would work harder, later, longer. I would give, yield, or help. With a handful of hours to have everything out of a four bedroom home, a U-Haul pickup rented, realizing I needed a trailer to help with moving in the rain, I scoured the web and quickly realized that this location was the only open place that might have the trailer I needed. I was quoted $50 for a day with a 5x8 enclosed trailer. I was in Salem, I flew to Talbot to grab the pickup, flew to Albany. Ever done 80-90 mph in a U-Haul pickup on that stretch of I-5 in the rain? Realizing the time, I called to implore with employees to please wait a couple extra minutes. I offered to pay $75 instead of $50. They said, “No. We like to leave right at 2.” And hey, that’s their right. I was nearly to Albany by this time so I had to try to make it. I’ve used gas and mileage I couldn’t afford, so hey, I’m going to see if by some wrinkle in time, I might beat the clock. I arrived at 2:03, saw the men leaving, knowing I was the one who called, ensuring no one would be in the building and be forced to assist me. No one broke any rules, in fact, they were in line with their schedule. They didn’t stand around, smirking and laughing at my luck. No one cussed me out or physically hurt me. This experience simply made me realize I too often go above and beyond for a world that never seems to reciprocate. I am forfeiting everything in this home that I shared with an abusive ex-husband, who became incarcerated without my knowledge in a home we shared with my name on the lease. I will lose out on $1,600 deposit that I banked on as a low income recently single mother. I cannot fit or move what I need to with the equipment I purchased. Really it’s all my fault, I suppose, for being inexperienced and ill-prepared. However, if the shoe were on the other foot, and it often times is, I would have stayed 20 minutes past closing if I knew someone needed it. I would persuade a coworker to stay with me if there could be no less than two employees working at any time. I’m sure this review will be deleted, may not reach the eyes of anyone within the company who matters, and even if it does, what could come if it. I must be processing in the only direct manner that I have at my disposal during this time. Here’s to losing, bad luck, and high stress. Cheers.
