Thank you for helping me grow my collection”

374 Bloor St W, Toronto“RUN, don't walk, to the Runners Shop! (I'm hoping no one else has made this joke)
I stopped by this week to get my first pair of running shoes and the owner, Lynn, was so lovely and helpful. She took the time to grab many different shoes for me to try and even examined my stance to find the right shoe for me. She also gave me some really helpful running tips for beginners and was so encouraging. I felt so taken care of as a customer and not rushed at all even though I went right before closing. I had such a great experience here that I felt absolutely terrible when I had to return the shoes I bought because I was unexpectedly gifted a similar pair, but Lynn and Greg were so kind about it.
I will 100% be returning to this store for all my future shoe purchases and running needs and have told my runner friends about it too. I also love how they are not only a store, but they host lots of events and runs and seem to have built a wholesome and welcoming community for runners of all levels. I'm so happy I found this store and got to meet such friendly and lovely people at the start of my running journey. Thank you, Lynn and Greg!”
“I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional service I received at Blacktoe. I had the opportunity to be assisted by Reggie, an exemplary professional whose attentiveness and willingness to help were remarkable.
Reggie not only provided excellent recommendations on the store’s products but also demonstrated a genuine commitment to supporting my development as a runner. His guidance during my training for the TCS Marathon was essential in helping me feel prepared and confident. I am deeply thankful for all the assistance and motivation he offered throughout this journey.
I am very satisfied with my experience at Blacktoe and grateful to have met someone as dedicated and competent as Reggie.”
“Very helpful. Ensured I had the equipment needed. Made a suggestion for a lat bar that was better than I had chosen AND $10 less. Extremely happy. Will be coming back even though they are a little further away.”

708 Denison St, Markham“This is an amazing store for runners! Bought a Salomon hydration vest and wanted to exchange it for a different size. Staff members were very friendly and knowledgeable; they made sure I had the right fit.
Looking forward to coming back in the upcoming months for a new pair of running shoes! :)”
“Excellent service and good overall selection. However, options available for extra wide feet are very limited. The wyde hallux is the only option that fits me. There are several other extra wide options in the global barefoot market, but unfortunately, there is not a lot available here or in Canada in general.”
“Awesome skate/snowboard shop with a great online store as well. Very friendly and helpful staff that went above and beyond to get me my order on time, shout out to Derek very happy with my purchase and will 100 percent recommend this shop!”
“Outstanding service!! I just ordered a full wing foil kit and wet suit. Mac was awesome, super patient and answered tons questions, giving me the technical details I needed to make the best decision. Mac made the whole purchase a great and fun experience, and an awesome start to getting into a new sport. After checking out a bunch of places, Northline Sports had the best gear selection and prices by far. Definitely sticking with them for all my future purchases! Thanks Mac.”
“I got my new skates baked and stretched here and the employees were extremely kind and efficient even though they were helping many people at once. I'd definitely come back here to buy new gear or get my skates serviced.”

330 Steeles Ave W unit a1, Thornhill“With my Salomon boots having reached the end of their life after 20 years, I was in the market for a bombproof pair to replace them. Having moved out of the GTA and shopped at Sanction when they were Boardzone, was really glad I made the hour trek from north of the city. Showed up with the family, and were pleasantly greeted as soon as we walked through the doors. Making our way downstairs, I was still within earshot of the cash, where I heard a genuine "thanks for shopping at Sanction" to the customers who had just picked up some gear. There was one sales associate who has helping a young couple with some boots/bindings, and it was clear they were very patient in addressing their questions, and walking them through their options. Jack approached me and after sharing with him what I was in the market for, he suggested a few options. I never once felt like I was being "sold" and he offered a number of insights, and was very knowledgeable. True to Sanction's philosophy, it was evident that this shop is "run by riders for riders." In a day when it's easy/convenient to shop online or pop into any big name retail store, there's something to be said about a local shop that offers the latest gear, amazing/approachable/knowledgeable staff, and competitive pricing. Thanks guys for the amazing experience!”

1234 Yonge St, Toronto“Shopped at the Summerhill location. Super impressed with Zac and Jacob. NB is a great product and so gratifying to have salespeople who know how to find the best model and fit the shoes properly.”
“Finding sports stores with squash gear is difficult in general but Racquet Guys hit the spot. Not to mention I arrived there on Monday but they were closed (my fault that I did not check their hours) but the folks inside saw me and opened the store so I could get what I needed....koodos to Racket Guys - thanks for going above an beyound.”
“Ruddhi was AMAZING!! She went over and above to help - I live far and she allowed me to come in to exchange something even before they were technically open! Awesome service !!”

972 Queen St E, Toronto“I joined Culture Athletics’ run club approximately 3 months ago, based on a friend’s recommendation. I mentioned to her that I wanted to get faster in my running, and she suggested Culture Athletics. I was hesitant at first, but boy was she right. I have learned so much since joining. From day one, I was welcomed with open arms by a community that is not only friendly but incredibly encouraging. Whether you are wanting to qualify for Boston like many of the runners in the group or if you’re simply wanting to run with an encouraging community at whatever your pace, I highly recommend Culture Athletics.Despite my initial hesitation due to my slower pace, I quickly realized that this group embraces runners of all levels, making it feel like having your own personal cheer squad every time you hit the pavement.Within these 3 months, I achieved a milestone I never thought possible: completing a half marathon in under 2 hours. This accomplishment is a testament to the supportive environment fostered by Culture Athletics. What sets Culture Athletics apart is not just the running, but the holistic approach to wellness. The Tuesday night yoga sessions for runners with Sarah are simply amazing. Her expertise as a yoga instructor has helped me immensely with strengthening, stretching, and mastering breath work, all of which have not only enhanced my running but also improved my overall well-being.The Wednesday training sessions with coach Seanna have been instrumental in my progress. Seanna’s dedication to creating training plans and her unwavering support rain or shine (or snow, cold, wind) have pushed me beyond my limits and helped me grow as a runner.I must also mention Nigel, whose positive energy and organizational skills make every run and event a joyous experience. The camaraderie within the group, with everyone cheering each other on during runs, creates an incredibly uplifting atmosphere.I was initially hesitant to join, but I am so glad I did. I am excited about setting and achieving my next goals with the support of this amazing community. And not to forget, I’ll soon be getting a new pair of shoes from Culture Athletics to continue this fantastic experience!Thank you, Culture Athletics, for creating such a welcoming and empowering space for runners like me. Highly recommended!”
“The best!Walked into this location and left with new friends. Love Peloton and love Peloton Sherway! Can’t wait for the next event - Thanks Maria and Nick ☺️”
“First of all, I would like to thank Jennie and Dylan for their good advice that they did for me and my friends in the last hours of their work. With patience and kindness. I bought boots that after using them I realized they were too heavy and brought them to the store and replaced them. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you to the children and the store”

500 King St W, Toronto“My faithful, 10-year old Nano jacket that is my go-to for all seasons besides summer was showing its age, the zipper was no longer working properly. I know Patagonia will repair their products and so I visited the store in the hope that something could be done for it.The experience was a delight: in a matter of 10 minutes the zipper was skillfully repaired with a new slider and my jacket is good for at least another 10 years!”
“Simply the best shop for wetsuits - this is with 30+ years of wind sports. I struggled with my first purchase, and they immediately let me find a better suit that fit perfectly. Their ordering process is easy and quick. Despite the 24-hour pickup policy, I've always had my orders ready for same-day pickup.
Keep up the good work, Surf Ontario!
For reference, I'm 6'2" and 195lbs. I have long legs and these feel custom-made for me. The suits that fit me amazingly well are:
1. The 5.5/4.5 O'Neill Hyperfreak Hoodie in XL - fantastic for colder temperatures, as low as 5°C and on warmer days, still very comfortable.
2. The 2/3 O'Neill Reactor 2 in XL”
“I had stopped running just before the pandemic and am wanting to start again. I was helped by Colin who was genuinely friendly and approachable. I was very impressed by his product knowledge as he recommended the perfect pair of shoes! Looking forward to restarting my running journey. Thanks Colin!!!!”

1590 Bloor St W, Toronto“Came to get a goalie mask for my son, and a gentleman (I didn’t catch his name - he is a younger goalie coach) was super helpful in showing us options. Very nice experience and certainly worth the travel to the neighborhood.”
“I’ve been coming to Bass Pro for many years and they have absolutely great staff. They are always helpful and are very positive. There was a younger gentlemen who usually works the the camping section (short blonde hair) who is always polite and helpful but I forgot to get his name, and Ian, an older gentlemen who is also very helpful and charming, they both have great knowledge about camping and product knowledge which is very important and helpful for someone who doesn’t know as much and wants to know more. I also don’t really write reviews but I was so impressed by their positive attitude that I felt compelled to write them a review. Overall, the store and the staff are very positive and outgoing and it makes me love to come to Bass Pro even when I don’t need anything.”

82 Bloor St W, Toronto“My husband and I came to Harry Rosen today and met Raymond Moseley, WOW what an experience we had! Raymond was so kind, professional, knowledgeable, attentive and such a pleasure to speak with! The overall experience with Raymond was as like nothing we have had before, I had a blast and I wasn’t even shopping for myself!! The staff at this store is super friendly, and everyone treated us with such respect. Raymond has now become our “go to” and we look forward to meeting with him again. Thank you Raymond for making our experience so special!”
“Long time swimmer, first time customer and my experience was amazing. Thank you for taking the time to ensure I had the best fitting suits. Love the colours too! I will be back.”

1339 St Clair Ave W, Toronto“There is a reason this business has been around for over 60 years. The incredible customer service and knowledge of Lino is what separates this type of store from many others in the GTA.I recently purchased two autographed framed jerseys and Lino was fair in negotiations and ensured I was satisfied with the product. He was incredibly responsive to all questions I had.If you need anything soccer related or soccer memorabilia, this is the best store to shop at and is in a league of its own. I personally will recommend this to all friends and family.”

“Big store with brand names and the absolute best deals you will find anywhere. I've been shopping at SVP for over 20 years. Now I bring my kids there and save loads of money on things they want. Can't find a single negative thing to say about this business. Simply the best”
“We have visited a few stores and Aqua Palace is my absolutely favourite. The staff is so friendly, always ready to recommend and make a suggestion if you don’t know where to start. Their prices are also reasonable.”
“My son came in to get his bike chain adjusted and the staff took amazing care of him. They adjusted other parts and took time to answer his questions and even put a water bottle holder on for him. It was great service and very appreciated.”
