“Had a flat tire from when I ran over a nail. I live down the street and always see these guys hard at work.
The store owner advised me I should have it towed to the shop to not have any damage.
Had the tire repaired on site after the tow and had been working ever since.
Really helped me in a pinch during a busy work day.

“I had a brake repair job for my daughters Mazda and was on a pretty tight schedule. Edmar answered the phone a few minutes after regularly scheduled hours, listened to my situation and worked me into the schedule for early the next week. He diagnosed a problem, ordered parts and had the repair done on the Monday. Edmar also recommended a future tire purchase but advised it could wait a couple months. His shop is not fancy or flashy but his exceptional service and honest repairs more than make up for it.”
“Today I went to a Quote at a different mechanic and they told me I had to replace the control arm some othet parts I came to autofix and they said there is.no need to replace that part that I was told before so they only replaced what was needed this guys are the most honest human beings .they dont change what is not needed ! I will be coming back”

“I have a 2016 GTI. Another shop found the turbo wastgate was seized (a common problem) and quoted me about $5,000 for a new turbo system. Chadi (from Peter's VW) said he could fix it for $1100 and he did. I will definitely use Peter's VW again!!”
“Don’t even know where to start, Steven exceeded my expectations when he worked on my truck. 100% honest and shows you proof of everything! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Highly recommend when it comes to machinery and auto repairs. A bonus is that he’s open 24/7 for the winter to repair snow machinery, plow trucks and salters. 10/10”

“Had a crash - a friend recommended this shop - The Owner Steven was very gracious with his time toward repairing my vehicle and understanding the process - it took time to get fixed (due to part supply issues) but Steven made my wreck look brand new - it functions very well and no issues remain after his magic touch! “Brindle Automotive must be in the top 3 for a non-dealer Volvo specialist in Toronto. It’s owned/run by a former Volvo dealer master mechanic and in the last decade I’ve brought 3 different models in to see them, after a friend recommended them for when my warranty coverage was up. Blunt honesty & 100% reliable, plus fairly priced and no surprises. Don’t expect a fancy waiting room or a magazine rack next to the coffee machine. Its like some of the best restaurants, a hole in the wall place you wouldn’t notice if you weren’t looking for it. But absolutely worth it, at Brindle I’m confident he’ll (Brian or Bryan I think?) explain what’s the issue, why something needs to be done and/or the possibilities of waiting, what my options are and what he suggests (rarely the most expensive choice), plus the cost in advance. The owner isn’t looking to upsell and understands the value of a dollar. I’m not one for posting reviews but this place deserves it. One issue is booking, he’s extremely busy and there’s no online system or anything. I’d suggest your best bet is to call him on a Friday or Monday and see if he can fit you in that week or next. You won’t regret it.”

“Sam helped us find a ridiculous pin hole on our right rear tire late on a Sunday. Most guys would have given up and said you probably need a new tire. When he found it he brought me over because I think he just wanted me to see... Even with a flashlight you couldn't see the hole but with soapy water a nice healthy bubble was showing signs of life. Extremely satisfied with him finding that pin hole tomorrow was big day for us and we both really needed a car... Thanks Sam much appreciated never in the area so probably won't see me again but glad we dropped in”
“Murphy is a lifesaver, and I'm so thankful I came across him.Called because the ESL (Electronic Steering Lock) in my W204 had broke/malfunctioned and the car wouldn't start, a common issue in this model. After being let down by some others who were supposed to come fix it, Murphy came to my car, the same day, at night, to fix it. After experiencing shocking customer experience elsewhere, his was amazing, and I will 100% search him out for any future issues I have. You can tell he knows what he's doing and also loves what he does as well.You're the man Murphy!”
“From the moment I entered the shop (in the wrong area since I had not been there for 20 years!) I was treated like a friend/guest not a customer. The person i interrupted in the wrong area walked me over to the front office rather than just pointing and getting back to his work.
Andrew came out and did a walk around on my car and really listened to the solution I was looking for with the least expense as my car is 16 years old. The whole experience was without pressure
The car was ready when promised and the work was more than satisfactory.
Oh, and the day I left the car I was going to call an Uber and Andrew's dad, likely a Martino Bros I dealt with 20 years before offered to drive me home

“I've went to them a couple of times and recently had a great experience as well after my local mechanic sent me to them. I explained the problem, they assessed and gave me a detailed explanation and cost.
When the work was done, there was no extra costs involved and I paid the exact quate, considering the work that was done it was fast. From the front staff to the mechanic, it was wonderful service.”

Very good service, my car takes 5.7 lts of oil and it cost $60.
Excellent price and service, $49.95 for a synthetic oil change, that take 5 lts or less.”
