Thought it was a great store nice and close by handy for things you forget. Shop there a lot. Not happy because I went to return a couple of things I had bought the weekend before. Didn’t have my receipt accidentally threw it out. I had paid with my visa so had statement for proof of purchase. They wouldn’t refund or even just give me store credit. It was only $25 and the items were still in pack and tagged. Thought was ridiculous and have never had problem with any other business. Anywhere else would give you a credit if you didn’t have receipts. I find it rather insulting like I stole it or something and was trying to return for cash. I mean seriously! It was the same employee that sold it to me as well. He had told me where to find the stuff the weekend before. I will only shop there if absolutely necessary from now on. I will drive the extra 20 minutes to Kanata or Arnprior.

Went there today because we had a plumbing emergency and arrived close to close. We found everything we needed except for one last part because the fitting area is such a mess. Guy kept hounding us since we got in there they were about to close. We had enough told him what we thought of him and left. Zero customer service in this place, the older guy couldn’t even get off his a$$ to help us? Supposed to be supporting the community etc? 30 years I supported local well never again. Gladly went to Canadian tire found what we needed and better quality as well. Home Depot , Canadian tire a lot more better service. This home hardware needs to just close down or hire people who want to actually work their.

Decent little local hardware store. Wouldnt recommend it for building a house unless delays are your thing. But saves my butt for odds and ends constantly

My local store, the great staff is the best reason to shop here. Regular Home Hardware, but the people are knowledgeable and helpful and always willing to help.

employee at customer service desk (wearing black pro shirt) made it pretty obvious that he was in a bad mood because of technical problems with his system. After they overcharged me, he made no effort to help....passed the problem over to another employee and pretended I was not standing in front of him at the desk.

Anyway, great worker, professional and super friendly and I might visit you just for him. I might as well wait for him after his shift. *wink wink*

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Full of useful hardware. Paint and stains can be coloured to order. Lots of lumber. they can special order and they can deliver.

They never seem to have anyone with experience in the store. Shelves are not kept full. Talk too much to each other and ignore customers.
