Pathetic service! All items are priced super high!! What on earth are they thinking by keeping all the prices above 3$??? And I was just leaving the store without purchasing anything and the lady was like nothing!?? And looking at my hands!!!!!! So rude and ridiculous and first of all there is nothing even good to steal also..

I bought a pack of 3 mouse traps from this store, paid $4.50, came home and opened the package. The moment I tried to setup the first one, the pins jumped in my face and the trap just fell apart. I tried fixing it, but it popped again. I went back the next day to return the pack. The owner was so upset. He said this was the first time ever anyone complains about this product. He went on and on accusing me of using too much force with the trap. Then his wife joined in his defense. And I was just standing there listening to him. Then I told him it’s not about the money, but it’s a matter of principle for me. When I buy something, I need it to work. As simple as that. I could have thrown it in the garbage, but he needed to know. Anyway, he gave me $4 back and said thank you (quite bitterly). I just picked up my $4 and walked away. What a way to do business.

The shop keepers are abrupt and miserable. The prices are ridiculous, and they’ve judged me for not buying very much. Like hello, I don’t buy a lot from them, because they charge so much for things that are not supposed to be that expensive.
I’m a naturally loud speaker, so I didn’t realize that I spoke too loud in the store. As a result, the shop keepers abruptly told me to lower my voice. I didn’t raise my voice on purpose, so why do they have to be so rude about it?!
Unless you’re going there for a specific reason, you’re better off going to Dollarama!

Honestly the WORST SERVICE EVER. I seriously don't recommend coming here for literally anything. The owners have the worst attitude and everytime i have came here i have regretted it because of the way they have treated me. They are extremely RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. I have came back here because of the convenience and its on my way. But i will NEVER come back to this store again! Also don't know why they're called “dollar zone” literally nothing there is even close to a dollar lol. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE.

Store owner was really rude to us while we were looking around to shop. And he was raising his voice when we did nothing wrong. Also prices were very expensive for a dollar store.

Absolutely terrible and disgusting experience here. I was not going to make a post but after coming across and reading the other 1 star reviews and negative experiences other people have... I feel like I have to share mine as well to help others.
The owners of this store is greedy with no morals at all.
My mother came to this store to get a replacement battery for her key fob for her vehicle. When she went inside she realized she forgot her set of keys to pry apart the cover to see what battery she needed. (This is a mere few second job, I do this for customers for free as charging for this would be thivery).
The owner offered to help her out as he had a something thin to pop the battery cover off. She assumed it was a gesture of kindness to help her out so she can figure it which size battery to purchase.
In the end the owner charged close to $15 for the battery and cracking open the battery cover. She was forced to pay and felt scammed. When she got home she told me the story and was concerned why she paid more then double this time.
I go to the store personally to ask how much a single cr2032 battery is (the battery she purchased) and the owner mentions $3. I was furious and asked why he charged my mother over 4x that amount and he mentions that he charged her $10 for the few seconds of his time to open up the battery cover.
This is absolutely disgusting as my mother is an older women who doesn't speak English very well. There was not one point he mentioned to my mother there was going to be any chargers for him helping her pop open the battery cover of her key fob.
I've been in the automotive industry for over 2 decades and not once have we ever charged a customer for a service that takes mere seconds of our time.
It's not about the money but the principal's and morals of good business. You do not offer to help someone crack open a battery cover on a key fob and then charge them $10 afterwards without telling them before hand.
I really hope there aren't other elderly customers that walk in where you take advantage of.
I'm all for supporting small family owned business but not ones like this. I hope Circle K put you guys out of business.

Do not shop here, give dollarama your business instead. These people need to sell this place to some decent business owners. Price gouging on everything in the store. The owners think everyone is there to steal, I've never experienced such despicable behavior from a dollar store before.

First off I want to say that I have never been treated so poorly in a store (especially by the store owner himself). He is a ruthless individual who has no regard for customer satisfaction and unfortunately is an opportunist who is just looking to make an extra buck. I went to make a purchase only to be literally yelled at by the man behind the counter. He didn’t understand me and he continued shouting at me even when I was trying to explain to him. Nobody deserves to be treated this way especially if they are supporting your business.

Unreal experience here today, thought I was in the shining. I needed to urgently buy birthday cards and it said the price $1.30, when I went up to pay with THREE ITEMS my total ended up being around 20 dollars. Actually disgusting. Also the man at the counter was on the phone very rudely. Overpriced mice people. They are the thieves not me. Which I was accused of being after walking in for a second. Crazy experience
