Big Thank you to an amazing team at Harmony, our basement looks amazing! Lot of compliments, especially our accent TV wall.
We knew right from the beginning that Diego and the Harmony team was the company we could rely on and trust and we had a great experience. Diego provided great ideas in designing our basement layout. Stephanie helped provide and guide us to make the right choices in our decor selections with great ideas.
Roy was an amazing project manager, he listened to our requests and was always there to make sure everything went right according to our plans and vision. It was an extreme pleasure to work with Roy, one of the best. All the trades were fantastic and very respectful.
I recommend Harmony for your future basement project you won't be disappointed.

We are very satisfied with our basement recently finished by Harmony Basements. From the beginning of the project, Harmony team kept on top of all aspects of the project from design to schedule to quality workmanship to finishes. We are very satisfied with the workmanship and customer service of the Harmony Team that completed our basement finishing project. From the initial design phase, we were confident that Harmony could deliver our vision within a respectable budget. Diego dedicated his time (prior to us signing an agreement) to provide us with the conceptual design model ensuring the project scope was clear and that it was to our satisfaction. Stefany assisted us with our selections at the Design Studio and the process was smooth. The project started very shortly after signing the agreement with everything concluding within 7 weeks. Sasha provided a weekly schedule that was closely followed and Harmony’s communication was good. Roy, the Site Supervisor, was a pleasure to work with. Very knowledgeable, friendly, took time to explain things and offer suggestions and made sure the project was completed to our specifications. We would highly recommend the Harmony Team for basement and other area renovation projects and would welcome the opportunity to be able to work with them again in the future.

You won't find a better design and build firm to build your basement than Harmony. From the initial design consultation with Diego all the way through to the build, the service was top-notch. This company builds thing the right way. At all stages, the necessary permits were pulled. Navigating the permit process with the City of Toronto was especially challenging, but Harmony worked diligently. Special thanks to Diego, Roy and the rest of the Harmony team. Diego in particular is a talented architect and designer and made many wonderful suggestions. Roy was fantastic at shepherding the build from beginning to end. The end result is superb. A basement by Harmony will truly increase the value of your home. Thanks Harmony!

We were very happy with the work and professionalism that Harmony Basement provided for us. Diego and his team, lead by Roy, were a pleasure to work with right from the start. Diego's in-depth quote was spot on. He came in and took pictures and was able to show us what the basement would look like with his 3D rendering . He went step by step with us for the cost of everything, and thanks to the detail, there wasn't any surprises. Communication is amazing with Diego and his team through what's app. Any questions were answered promptly. Quality work was provided by all the trades that he works with. I had a contract signed with a large basement renovation company and was able to get out of it within 48 hours after seeing a victim group on facebook. After doing lot more research I found many good things about Harmony basements. I contacted their office and wanted to go meet the owner to talk details about my project. Diego is an absolutely amazing talented person to work with. Since my basement was a huge project, I took their design service which saved tones of money at the end.I am an engineer by profession and I can certainly without hesitation tell Diego is a very detailed oriented person. He will go above and beyond to make your project look stunning once completed. My basement is little under 1500 sqft and I worked with Diego on the layout for about a month to make sure I have all the details I wanted. He was super patient and always full with great ideas. Diego has an amazing team. As we were expecting our first child I was in a rush to get this job done. But, same time I didn’t want to sacrifice the quality. And this team delivered topnotch work very fast. Electrical, plumbing and HVAC guys were very professional and knowledgeable. Roy was the site supervisor for this project. Absolutely amazing person to work with. Always listened and responded to my concerns right away. Worked super late to get the project done. Roberto the man of steel, did an absolutely amazing job framing and drywalling my basement. He is super fast and very detail oriented. He got the job done so quick and also worked late. Missael did an amazing job taping. Worked over 12 hours a day and even on weekends to finish the job on time. Julian did a very good job with all carpentry and placed turned out to be stunning. Eduardo, one of the nicest guys in trade I have met. He worked so late to finish off my basement. Did an absolutely amazing paint job and left my basement spotless after the job completed. A team like this is very hard to find these days. Thank you all very much for getting my basement done so fast maintaining top quality!! I will always recommend harmony basement to anyone and have already done so!

Our basement was unfinished for 20+ years so the team had to basically start from scratch. Its now unrecognizable, we cant even imagine how it used to be! Its modern, cozy and looks great. Everyone that comes into the space loves it. Everyone at Harmony is kind and helpful and keeps you involved throughout the process. Would definitely have them do another project in the future :)

This was the best company ever. Very smooth and zero stress. They gave us an estimation completion time of 6weeks and it got done in 4weeks. We are very satisfied with our experience. The project manager kept in touch from start to finish. Great communication skills. All the people working also amazing and friendly. I will recommend them for sure

It’s been a couple months now and we’re very happy with our Harmony basement renovation. The team did a great job and was very easy to work with from start to finish. Thanks especially to Roy for all your hard work. The trades were great and Roy and Diego helped solve any issues that came up. Thanks to Pablo for working with us on the quoting process. Happy to recommend them to anyone looking to get a basement done.

We recently had our basement renovated with your company at a cost of about $80,000.
There are a few things that we did not like, appreciate and was very insulted with during this renovation, mainly by the person that we signed with.
- there was no option to pay any part of this renovation by Credit card, especially the down payment.
- The payment schedule was not very realistic because it was too much upfront before completion of job. We should have made contract to state half up front and balance paid on completion of job.
- The bathroom shower is too small and if we had the opportunity to see the size of the doors up front, we would have chosen differently.
- We should have had the bin that was supplied, to be parked in the road to avoid tickets on the homeowner vehicles parked on the road
- We discussed that the egress window would be done after the final electrical quote, but they went ahead and said we would be charged for the window anyway since it was in the contract. Seems very unfair
- During construction We had a concern about the breaker going off and it took four days before they came to check. All you had to say was he was the best electrician you had.
- We feel that the additional outdoor light and plug that the electrician and your company charged ($500) was way overpriced. When I checked around, it should have only cost half of that.
- When we asked the framer to place an extra piece of wood between the aluminum studs to hold brackets for television, you wanted to charge extra. We ended up getting a board and a few screws to do it ourselves.
- The appliances that were disconnected by your company should have been (at least) reconnected by your company, like the washer/dryer.
- After you found a cheaper vendor for us to do our side door, you insisted that we pay extra to patch up the drywall around the door AND build a new step. You would not allow your workman to do the drywall patch up only since we wanted to save money and build the step ourselves. Because of that we had to find someone to do the drywall patch up.
- You drilled into us that it was in contract every time we tried to reason with you to no avail.
- The customer service was better with most of your workmen than you
- Even after changing our work duties to accommodate your work schedule, the completion date was still late.
- When one of our cheque payments were late, you threatened to stop work and delay the job.
- We have paid you all owed to your company as instructed but feel that more could have been done to make us feel like we were not being taken advantage of.
- One other thing, we feel that extra materials were ordered and charged to us, BUT a lot of materials were taken back (as per contract) but we should have received a credit for those materials returned.
All the other work was done satisfactorily and we are happy with working with the different workmen, namely Roy and Eduardo, but as for recommending your company, it will be hard.
