This is probably one of the best stores I've been to in such a long time! For background, I have a small dog and when I went Global Pet Food store at Major Mackenzie, Alyse, was the person who assisted me with all my questions regarding my dog's nutrition along with suggesting certain products that I will definitely check out in the near future. Alyse and her team at Global Pet Food are amazing and very knowledgeable. Alyse took the time to go through everything my dog might need considering my beautiful dog, Taco, has special dietary needs. Alyse was very welcoming and knows a lot about dry food vs. raw food. This store is amazing!!!! Please visit, you will not regret!!!!

The women cashier was very arrogant,tried to upsell the most expensive cat food to me,gave me hard time trying to exchange a product and I had the actual bill with me,had to buy other items I didn't want,just to return them later on,instead of giving me a store credit.Very rude women,wouldn't want her working at my business.This was at the woodbridge location at Weston and Major MacKenzie

As a long time customer, this is my go-to pet store. The staffs are always friendly and knowledgeable. The items are always up to date, stocked with new products, and good priced. Store is also always clean & well maintained

When I recently got two kittens I needed everything to get them setup, I found this location on social media as they have a great IG and couldn’t be happier that I did. The staff is great, Natalia was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and helpful in making sure I had everything I needed and more. My kittens couldn’t be happier either. Thanks team

Great options for raw food at great prices. Many choices of quality food, treats, and pet products. Friendly staff at this location too. They are so helpful, always asking if I need a hand with my giant boxes for my giant dogs. Like, every time! Even though I always say no thank you, because I don’t need the help. It’s just thoughtful for those that do need a hand. Most of the staff also remember me and ask about my pets. The store is always super SUPER clean and organized. It is a smaller store, but has everything that you need for dogs, cats, and smaller pets (hamsters, bunnies, birds, etc.).

I just found out my senior cat has diabetes so I went to Global Oets in search of a pet food that would help support both my cats' health. I spoke with Maureen who was unbelievably knowledgeable regarding the ingredients in all the pet food within the cat food section. She was also very helpful in offering advice regarding which food I should by that would support both my diabetic cat's diet, as well as my overweight cat's diet. We brainstormed a couple of ways to help both my cats finally settling on raw food as the best possible option for my cats. Maureen was really helpful in providing me with pet food suggestions that were economically sustainable. I ultimately decided to feed my cats raw food. Ive always listened to veteranians when it came to my cat food choices. However, theyve often steered me in the wrong direction because they've recommended cat foods from companies that have provided them with incentives to sell their products. Maureen was such an amazing salesperson. I'm so happy I wondered into this specific Global Pets today!

Terrible customer service. They refused to refund or replace a defective pet toy. Have been coming to store for the past 2 years and never returned any stuff. First time we wanted to return a defective pet toy and it was refused. This store even refused to honour their own return policy. Don’t recommend buying anything from this store.

disclaimer this review is in no way targeted at the employees or manger Alyse, all the employees I've worked with at this store are extremely kind and are very good at their jobs and this includes Alyse who I had the at most pleasure working with. (they don't get the credit they deserve) I had worked at this location for a little over a month, almost two and I couldn't say I had a positive experience and that is because of the two bosses Maureen and Ambrose. first I would like to say that I was fired and poorly treated by the bosses due to finding out my boyfriend started having covid symptoms during my shift. I had gone on break and had realized I had several messages letting me know that I may have been exposed to the virus, I texted Maureen my former boss and let her know that I just found out I may have been exposed to covid and if I should leave or not her response was "why did you come in the first place, yes leave now!" even though I had indicated I had just found out. this is also the same boss that had came into work several times with covid like symptoms and kept saying "its just a cold" not like were in the middle of a pandemic or anything... (just to clarify I had no symptoms and had no knowledge that he wasn't feeling well which is why I came to work) not even a full 24hours after this incident had they posted on indeed to replace my position at this store. also another disclaimer; the payment amount that they put on indeed where it says you'll be payed minimum 15$ is FALSE, they put a false payment on the app and then tell you it's actually 14.35$? I had realized that the bosses had scheduled me for a total of 2 shifts on the upcoming week after this incident which had never happened prior, I worked a total of 10hours in 2 weeks which seemed very odd to me because how are those hours sufficient for anyone and prior to that I had worked over 20 hours ALWAYS. I have been refused to return my work uniform in exchange for the money I payed for it because I took longer than 2 days, even though I physically couldn't leave my house because of quarantine and on top of that each month we are given a free bag of kibble which I was supposed to come pick up today because it was ordered before I had been fired without cause and I had been there for quite over a month but maureen insisted that I am not allowed to get my free bag of food anymore. the next time that I had seen my former bosses after the incident involving the widely spread virus, was actually my last shift to be. Ambrose had come into the store and ignored my hellos, let alone didn't even look at me for the remainder of my shift and I would like to say I was so uncomfortable and felt unwanted by the way MY "BOSS" was acting towards me in this manner. once my shift was over, maureen came in at exactly that time and Told me I am no longer needed to work at this job and that in quote "customers love you and you are great with them but you just aren't learning enough" never once had I been told you aren't taking in the information I was being taught as my knowledge for dog nutrition had expanded widely and that was primarily because of Manger Alyse who taught me everything I know! Maureen and Ambrose are the most unwelcoming, judgmental bosses you will ever come across and that is evident through other reviews being targeted at them. they care more about facing the store than how they treat their own employees.
