Great when I was "allowed" to file there. Last year filed else where (mistakenly, long story) when i dropped off my taxes this year i was called to come pick them up because they "don't want to start the profile over" even after explaining the mix up. Apparently they're not accepting new clients so don't bother, even if they decide to again I wouldn't recommend them anymore, not after today.

I’ve never been so disappointed or embarrassed in a tax service preparer in all of my years of filing income tax.
My only hope is that they aren’t treating others in the same manner as I have recently experienced.
Imagine my embarrassment for having a referral treated so poorly with a total lack of professionalism by the tax preparers at Willson Tax in LaSalle, Ontario.
I’ve had my taxes completed here for four years previously with next to no issues.
This year 2024, the tables have turned & they simply seem too busy to “take care” of previous clients who have helped them build their business or provide them with the excellence in customer service (others here are bragging about. I can’t imagine why anyone would be touting their praises.)
The tax preparer needed a tax form from me which I produced in late March before leaving on vacation with a note stating I would be away until April 1st, if they had any questions. It was handed to a gentleman whose desk is right by the front door who basically threw it into a tray. I couldn’t believe it, but gave the benefit of a doubt that they would take care of it as it was supposed to have been handled.
Fully expecting a call in recent weeks since our return to the country, there was absolutely no contact (no word about the tax form getting to the appropriate person even)!
I guess I shouldn’t have been so nice because they not only neglected to our taxes & have left them to the last minute -it is still waiting to be processed on Jennifer’s desk as of April 15th because she is “off” today!!
Their complete lack of professionalism is astounding.
I was told by Wilma, “I understand if you don’t want to have your taxes done by us next year!!”. Clearly she does not have any interest in the reputation of Willson Tax either.
They do not care about previous clients or to provide the services they are generously paid to provide to the public.
Shame on you and you will not only NOT have my business next year, but I will discourage others from seeking out your services going forward. Terrible!!

I've gone for decades to Mike for both CAN and US returns. He was able to clean up a major CRA screw up for me. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Wow - never have I experienced such terrible and unprofessional customer services! The response to my first email was all caps and then the receptionist went on to correct my question, instead of answering it. Amazingly sad and rude. :)

My husband had his refund in six days after we both signed our claims at the same time but someone left mine on someone's desk for a week before they e-filed it. Because of that and then Easter weekend I still haven't yet received my refund yet almost three weeks after I signed it.

They are amazing! I highly reccomend them for a stressfree and positive experience! We used to go to h&r block and constantly had issues and they always charged us a buttload for filing. Willson income tax made us feel comfortable and at ease knowing that everything would be alright. They filed for less than half the price h&r would charge and took less time doing it! Great job guys!
