I purchased a pre-certified Jetta GLI 2023 from VW of Windsor in Feb 2024 and encountered significant issues during the process.
Despite initially positive interactions, the finance manager, Saurabh Katara, exhibited unprofessional behavior. This included scheduling conflicts, aggressive tactics regarding insurance, and a lack of transparency regarding fees. Additionally, the dealership failed to provide a second key fob for the vehicle, causing unnecessary inconvenience which i found out at the time of picking up my vehicle. Later on based on my complain to VW head office they provided me the second key fob. Also detailing was not done of the car and it was promised by the sales manager but they never contacted me.
Following the purchase, I encountered further difficulties with the dealership's membership cancellation process, which resulted in significant delays (4 months) and frustration.
I believe that the actions of Mr. Saurabh (Surav) Katara and the dealership's overall service were unacceptable. I hope that future customers will not encounter similar experiences.

Experience was excellent. Service was over the top. Sales rep Bojan Dzepina explained everything into detail very knowledgeable. Finance manager Saurabh went far beyond the expectation. Sales manager Spencer excellent knowledge genuine man.

Had a great experience buying a car at this dealership. Bojan Dzepina was the salesman and he was really helpful with any questions etc, even responded to texts off hours to help me decide on the car. Everyone there seems pretty happy to work at that dealership and it makes a big difference when you are trying out various brands. Very happy with their service so far!

Great experience at the dealership. Everyone is pleasant. I bought car and Bojan was my sales person. Amazing guy, great at his job. Very pleasant and respectful. Everyone should go to him to get their cars. Bojan wasn’t pushy at all with me making a decision to buy the car but yet was always there to answer any questions. Very respectful guy. I bought my car in Windsor and I am originally from Hamilton. Bojan was genuinely helpful over phone to answer all my questions before I went to see the car in person. 10/10 experience. Everyone at the dealership were very pleasant.

I can not say enough about the amazing customer service I received at Volkswagen of Windsor. Bojan Dzepina is a exceptional sales agent. But more important a great person. I felt like I was talking with a friend. I felt 0% pressure. Never felt rushed. Everything was explained to me , until I fully understood ever last detail . Sam was also a great agent to deal with. Ever little detail regarding warranty , etc was explained. I did not feel any pressure. Was not rushed out the door. I was never felt that I was being rushed out the door. As soon as you walk in , you were greeted in a friendly manner. Asked if I would like a coffee, water. I could not have asked for a better experience.... Thank you Bojan

A very welcoming environment, and knowledgeable vendors who are very respectful and interested in your application will explain everything about the car and its specifications. They will also offer helpful advice based on your requirements level. Mr. Bojan in particular is very kind and has a wealth of experience.

We brought our 18yearold daughter’s 2009 Volkswagen Jetta to Windsor Volkswagen because it wouldn’t start and had the error message immobilizer activated. The dealership told us we needed a new key. We said ok. It took 4 days for the key and when it came in the car didn’t start. I phoned to find out when the car would be ready, they said the key didn’t work we have to check some other possible solutions. A week later I phoned them and the manager Ian, told me that the cluster needed to be replaced and that the part is not made anymore so they would access their list of parts places and junkyards as it needed to be that particular cluster for a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta. I said on and two more weeks went by. We are at 3 weeks now of them having the car. I haven’t been phoned once , only finding out when I have phoned multiple times. Ian informed me the first cluster they got in was not the right model. The next one they got was broken. I said ok and 2 more weeks went by and I phoned again and said Ian it’s been 5 weeks where are we at. He said we are trying all of our suppliers and so far no luck. I said well what should we do? He said be patient I’m sure we will find one. Two more weeks go by and still no contact from them. I phoned and asked for Ian and they told me Ian is on vacation. Ok I said well I’m checking on the status of my car as it’s been with you for 7 weeks. The lady said to me I believe her name was Heather. She said listen sir I will phone one of the suppliers and I promise I will get back to you no later than an hour and half. She didn’t call back. Next morning I called back and she said, oh that supplier didn’t have the part we need. I said ok thank you, I immediately phoned a Volkswagen mechanic from a different shop that told me unfortunately he wouldn’t be able to program the key if he replaced the cluster because only the dealership has the machine. So I was originally going to have it towed to him but then I’d be paying to having it towed there and then I would have to pay to tow it back after the cluster was replaced. The next week Ian was back and I said “ Ian it’s been 8 weeks and you guys have nothing. He said well these electrical issues can be tricky. I said why don’t I try and help with finding the part. He gave me the part number. I found the part in 10 seconds on eBay. I phoned him and said I found it on eBay. He said they can’t purchase from there “ in case the part didn’t work”. I said ok I will purchase it and bring to you. If it doesn’t work well no harm done. My wife ordered it, and it came 2 days later. I dropped it off on Friday before noon and Ian said “ well we can’t get to it until next week sometime”. At that point I was just happy they had the part. Monday rolls around Ian calls me for the first time in 9 weeks saying the car is good to go! Hooray I was thinking, my daughter paid and picked up the car. The car was driving good , now it’s Tuesday and my daughter went to put gas in and low and behold the exact same error message and the car doesn’t start. I phone Ian and he is astonished and has no idea what it could be. He says someone previous must’ve did the wiring wrong or something to that effect. I’m biting my tongue and say we’ll Ian what are we going to do? He says we’ll bring it down and we will look at it. I said ok can you have it towed since it’s not running. He says no we don’t have a tow service. I’m at the end of my rope. My daughter paid almost $1000 to have her car sit outside of the Volkswagen dealership for 8 weeks. Not fixed no suggestive solution except we will look at it. All I can say is I do not think I have ever experienced such terrible customer service and my daughter has been crying since early this morning. I don’t know if this is a reflection of the Volkswagen brand as I have never dealt with them before or if it is just a really poorly run dealership in Windsor. I’m guessing it’s the latter.

Volkswagen of Windsor is one of the friendliest dealerships I have ever visited. I was instantly greeted by one of their Finance Managers, Sami, who was amazing. He had excellent customer service, was very informative, and extremely friendly. Sami made the vehicle buying experience very easy and smooth, and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to help us through the process.
During our vehicle search, we went to almost every dealership in the city, and Sami was hands down the best salesperson we worked with.
Thank you, Sami and Volkswagen of Windsor, for making this buying process enjoyable and smooth.

Peter has reached out to me even before my arrival to Canada and answered to my questions through emails. Due to some factors beyond the dealer or my control, I could not proceed with my initial choice of getting the Tiguan. But it somehow gave me the time to review and confidence that it will be okay to get a smaller car. So I ended up choosing my all time favorite Golf instead.
The handover date for my Golf GTI happened to be EXACTLY on the day that the cyber attack on dealer systems happened, so the Finance Manager, Saurabh, had to manually type some docs so I can still take the delivery of the car as scheduled.
Overall, I am so far very happy with the car, and the service I have received from all personnel of VW of Windsor.
So long as the After Service lives up to my standard, I would recommend VW and / or VW of Windsor to others.

Staff is very rude . The salesperson was talking very rudely , I liked the car i wanted to purchase it but they didnt even gave me a quote and said there system is not working now.

I recently bought car from here. I had great experience buying my car, it was not at all stressful. Manager and Finance manager are really humble, helpful and respectful to us. Will definitely recommend my near and dears to take service from here.
