Got assigned an Instacart order for Sephora for the first time. As someone who doesn’t shop at Sephora, I felt like it would be a challenge to locate all the requested customer items. Associate Nick was very helpful and was able to assist me to locate all my needed items and the cashiers were knowledgeable when it came to checking out Instacart Shoppers. It was a smooth experience and my customers were able to get all their requested items and were very happy.

Needed help locating items I had googled and was hoping a beauty advisor could guide me to the best option for my skin colour and texture. The employee I asked for help was short, rude and seemed internally bothered I spoke to her. She rudely pointed to the Dior section and immediately tried to walk away, never once asking me if I needed anything or help. I was confused as it all looked like foundation and I needed concealer. She rudely responded that IS concealer. I walked out of the store immediately. I had just come from marks work warehouse and soft moc where their employees treated me kindly and helpfully. I immediately was disrespected by this Sephora employee and brushed off. She was so rude it made me not even want to bother with the products I had researched all day and I didn’t want to wander around the store looking for another employee as they barely had any working and they were all busy. So disheartened by this employees approach to me I will never purchase anything from this location again. Stuck up rude employees need not work here where woman shopping alresdy feel over whelmed and possibly confused by all the different options and brands. Try hiring helpful, kind and inquiring staff. This particular woman had red hair and tattoos and her personality was as graceful as a wad of hair on a change room floor. Disgusting

Patti and Sydney at checkout today gave me an extremely hard time trying to return something and turned me away without returning my items I had purchased online. I bought 3 items on the Sephora app and when I came to return them (only one item was used) Patti made it VERY clear she was suspicious of me for WHATEVER reason from the jump. She started carefully inspecting which wouldn’t be an issue if they weren’t sealed and had stickers on them? Then she whispered to the guy standing near her at checkout before saying they’re not under the same order. I said yeah probably because the PLUR perfume came a day late due to I guess being in short supply. She then said these are already refunded despite me already explaining Canada Post lost my package and an agent at Sephora customer service refunded me in credits then resent the order with the same credits which has happened before and I was given a gift card instead of credit card refund. She then said she can’t do anything because it’s refunded to your card when I SHOWED HER IT WAS CREDITS THAT WERE USED TO RESEND THE ITEMS AND THAT IT’S BECAUSE THE ITEMS WERE RESENT TO ME. Then Sydney decided instead of focusing more of her energy on the giant keloid formed around her piercing she would GIVE ME A RUDE TONE despite not being part of the transaction and says “she needs to leave there’s nothing we can do in store just call them” with extreme ATTITUDE. I felt like an outcast by the staff just for simply doing a return that was credited and resent rather than refunded to my credit card and denied my refund and I had to walk out crying because of how they humiliated me in front of the other customers and treated me as lesser than human. I am going up the ladder with this behaviour because Patti and Sydney don’t get to play bully simulator at a job many would kill to have.

Genuine question is there limit on how many time you can enter the store cuz why is saphora worker asking “your back again?” thought she was being funny but she said she can’t stand the smell. Low key that lady was hella racist cuz like WTH why is she asking another worker if her husband forced her to wear hijab in work ours, Anyway she has a gray hair, maybe in her 40s. Ik I’m soo nosy but like she was running her mouth loud in work hours “NOT PERFECTIONAL MISS GALLLL”? lolBut like fr y’all be meaner and meaner ever time. And why are y’all asking me “can’t you wait tomorrow and buy it then just cuz I ask if I can use online store credit” ? super mean but it’s WHATEVER I’m going to Chatham now you guys are mean MEANIES ?No hate just what I experienced but other then a few of those kind of people other stuff are super nice.

The employees are very stuck up and don’t even acknowledge that you’re there unless you are ready to purchase something. Today, there was a lady that basically pushed me and my sister out of the way when trying to show another customer a product. She didn’t say excuse me or anything and basically cut me off where i couldn’t by, but yet still ignored me. When we walked in, the man at the door didn’t even greet us. The workers are running around like there is an apocalypse going on and it’s very overwhelming. Even when it’s not busy, I don’t enjoy being in this store.
