I love popping into Giant Tiger when I need something quick for a good price. It's a great family store with something for everyone. The quality of the clothing is not always the best, but the price is not bad for what you're getting, making this store an economical choice for those needing to watch their budget. There is also a decent selection of grocery items for good prices. The only thing I really don't like about Giant Tiger is the layout of the store. If you come in the entrance and just have an item to return or you just want to grab something quick, you have to walk all the way around the whole store before getting to the checkouts.

Paying cash and only one checkout. Waited 5+ minutes to get to the register and the cashier walks away to help someone on self checkout. I'll go elsewhere to spend my money. I left my stuff on the belt, they can put it away if they don't want to serve me.

The checkout process at this store is just terrible one cashier open and 5 self checkouts. This store used to be so much better with real cashiers. Today I had lots of items $$$. After waiting 10 minutes to pay cash (not at a self checkout) I walked out and left everything and proceeded to winners. No issues shopping there. I hope this store realizes they are driving customers away. Just an open honest review. I won’t be back.
