Beware if you only purchase two tires! I am a huge Costco shopper and have purchased many tires from them. This most recent time (Nov. 2024) I only purchased two tires with the intent to purchase two more in six months or so as the other two were still in decent shape. I told them I wanted the two front tires replaced, they explained that they only put new tires on the rear. This was discussed both when I purchased them and when I went for the appointment. They said they would move the rear to the front both times. After 2.5 hours wait I looked at the rear tires on the car and loaded my groceries and went home. Once home I realized they only replaced the rear and disposed of my decent tires on the rear and left the bad ones on the front. Tip - Don't ever bother calling, they never answer the phone. I left a message with administration, since the tire center does not answer, but heard nothing. I went in to the store to speak to the manager on duty. While I went in three weeks in a row and they told me they needed to review their cameras. Weekly they said they would call me but never did. On the third week the manager on duty lied to me and said he watched the video, and told me I was not allowed to see it. Also, said they were too busy to call me. Perhaps they took them off and put them back on the same spot? Either way the left they nearly bald tires on and took the decent ones off. Beware if you only purchase two tires, now I have to purchase another two tires when they were not originally needed.

Got a good price on new tires but they refused to put them on my rims/car because they weren’t the same tire my car came with from the factory. My car came with runflats but switched to conventional. I Had to go to another business and pay an additional 200$ to have the tires put on my rims. Most ridiculous policy I’ve ever heard of. The customer should be able to choose any comparable tire for their own car.

The reviews here are very low mainly due to the wait time at the Costco tire centre. However, I believe the service was great overall. Todd at the check-in desk quickly confirmed my appointment and provided me with a copy of my invoice. He took my keys and informed me that I would receive a message once my car was ready for pick-up, which would take about an hour or two due to the busy season.
Since I had a day off from work, I decided to wait for my car in the parking lot. I ended up waiting about an hour for my car to get into the shop, and then another 30-45 minutes for the tires to be changed. In the end, Scotty did an excellent job on my Mazda3 Sport. He took care to avoid damaging the rims and even helped me put my old tires in storage bags for easy transport in my trunk.
As part of the Costco service, tires were balanced and rotated free of charge, and they were nitrogen inflated. Overall, I would rate this experience 3-4 stars, but because of Scotty's exceptional service, I’m giving it 4 stars.

Horrible I've never had 2 wait 2hrs for a oil change, maybe that's why they won't be doing them anymore, even if they were going to keep doing them it's faster to do it yourself.

Awful customer service. Completed wasted my time and did not even try to make things right. They had my car for 2 hours and didn’t do a thing until I asked about the progress, they then told me they wouldn’t help me further. Avoid the tire service if you value your own time.It’s a shame who they have running the tire department because the rest of Costco services are great.

March 3,2024 paid for 4 new Michelin tires.After a 3 1/2 hour wait to be told no tires. They didn't come in.and no update earlier while wasting the time . Really? What absolutely terrible service. Then finally After many calls new appt March 18,2024.Tires installed.Now every 3days go fill nitrogen . Tires deflating. How frustrating and angry I am.Need to book another appt for them to see what the problem is. Oh manager on vac. Until April 24. Will call when he gets back. Today is April 19,2024.Will never return or recommend anyone there.Finally went to another tire dealership.Results Costco NEVER REPLACED VALUES( STEMS)Did a sloppy job white stuff all over tire and chrome hub cabs.Customer service there needs to be addressed and re train the tire center.Need proof have documents to prove it.Buy tires anywhere else but Costco Windsor. rated 1 is to highVery very dissatisfiedMany appt.s And time lost because of their incompetent workmanship

Very bad experience, no importance of appointment time, I had my turn after 2 hours of appointment time, not enough staff to helpout, wish there was an option to give 0 stars. First & last time using costco tire center.

Wastes your time and doesn't even care. Long wait times and inefficient archaic systems. Spending $20 extra and getting tire changes done outside is a better option.

Ridiculous staff. Didn’t mention there would be extra cost per tire of one set of tires are not from Costco. Wasted time booking and waiting for appointment only to be told at end about this. Mischievous mal practice from Costco and not to mention the ridiculous time you spend waiting just to get to the counter.

In most cases you have to order your tires and it may take a week before they come in.Their prices are very competitive.

I give one-star, although I wish there was an option for a zero-star rating. If your time is important to you, I would advise against purchasing tires at Costco.
We arrived 30 minutes before our appointment and they informed us that our car would be ready in 1.5 hours. However, after 2 hours, our car had not even been brought inside. When we approached the staff for clarification, they seemed unaware of the situation.
Just 30 minutes before the store closed, they offered to have the entire team work on changing our tires and performing an oil change. No slots were available at that time and people were still waiting for cars.
We escalated the issue to the management, who assured us that they would reach out to resolve the matter. However, it has been two days and we have yet to receive any communication from them.
While their prices are cheaper compared to other stores, their service is HORRIBLE and the inconvenience of losing hours outweighs any proposed savings.
