Stayed one night in October to explore Windsor. Location was nice and close to the river. The room was clean and spacious. I did appreciate the engineered wood flooring instead of the standard carpet which in my opinion is gross. Very generous with the towels and toiletries....comfortable bed with clean white crisp sheets and enough pillows. The electric socket on one of the end tables did not work, the internet took a while to log on and the traffic noise was a bit much during the night. The fan in the heating and cooling unit would not stop running until the unit was unplugged. The staff are friendly and service is quick. The fridge in the room was not working and they replaced it within minutes of our request. It would have been nice to have drinking glasses in the room instead of paper cups. We did ask front desk, but apparently the hotel has no dishes. The breakfast was ok...they did have a few hot and cold items to choose from. Unfortunately some items were served cold and it would have been nice to have the option of real butter instead of margarine. And again mugs/glasses should be available for coffee/tea and juice instead of paper cups. At $200 a night, I don't think expecting glasses and real butter is unrealistic.

I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn on Dougall Avenue in Windsor, and it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and efficient, making the check-in process super smooth. My room was spotless and cozy, equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
The location couldn’t be better, close to restaurants, shopping, and just minutes from downtown Windsor. The complimentary breakfast was a great, I enjoyed it.
I was genuinely impressed by the attention to detail and the quality of service at this Comfort Inn. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, convenience, either you are travelling alone or with you partner and family this place live uptown its name. I will definitely be returning for my future stays in Windsor.

Walkability: Easy to navigate and acess

Got reservations and my room wasn’t ready at 4pm, Front desk need more guest service, I handle the payment card to him ( in hand ) and he dropped it on the desk afterwards.
