Worst service I have ever seen.. took us 10mins to figure out where the restaurant existed, then they took 5 mins to sit us even though it was half empty. Then sat for another 25 mins and attempting to get service seemed to make it longer.... As I wrote this I am still waiting for service..

We were just at the Caboto Club and it was the most disgusting customer service I've ever seen.I will NEVER go there again.We booked a room for a 90th birthday party over 2 months in advance. Caboto did not assign a server specifically for our room, even though we had 40 people. No one took our drink orders -everyone had to walk to the bar to order any drinks. They did not offer to refill our water when we ran out, we had to walk to the bar ourselves. They did not clear our tables, we cleared the trays and dishes ourselves.Our food took over an hour for the pizzas to arrive. Almost an hour later, 3 people still had not received their food. I went up to the bar area to speak to a server, telling her that 3 people had not received their pizza's yet, and everyone else had finished their food awhile ago. I told her that we all wanted coffee and tea to be served.Her response was, "I'm not your server", and turned away.I found the server that had been bringing our pizzas and told her the same thing, but she didn't say anything. About 20 minutes later, a server brought in one pizza, which meant that 2 people still had not received their order. At that point, I left. Just because our group were seniors, does not mean that we don't deserve good service. If it wasn't for it being a special event, I think everyone should have walked out without paying - the service was that bad.

If you want the best pizza ever and anywhere, this is the place!! Authentic wood fired pizza with a wide range of options and incredible flavours. Any pizza can be adjusted if you are vegetarian. If you are vegan, just bring in your own cheese and they'll make it. (note: pre-covid, they used to carry vegan cheese on hand, so hopefully one day they return to it if the demand is there) Caboto also offers their banquet menu for a sit down meal. Their pasta sauce is by far the best around. Check out their social media pages on FB and IG to view and take advantage of their weekly specials!! You just have to eat here!!

This is located in an odd place. After we parked and went in, went up stairs, down stairs, followed a hallway...then another...ended up in the dark down more stairs...followed the noise...you get the point. I even called and said, this is crazy - where are you?! Get signs Giovanni's! Our service was fine. The place was very full with one server. Our pizza was very, very good. Great quality meats. One person had a gluten free and it was very good but definitely needed a longer cook on the bottom, but maybe those are just gluten free problems. The drinks were okay, very small liquor selection.

Go anywhere in Ontario or even Canada for that matter and you won’t find better than Giovanni Caboto Club’s pizzeria on the lower level. It’s as good as anything I’ve had in Italy or elsewhere in Europe. Stone oven with wood fire is the best and great staff.

this 'basement' is amazingly elegant - in terms of the artisanship, wood molding, etc. - the Bar offers choice of wines, beers better than many licensed locations - and at reasonable prices - the wood-burning pizza oven does what gas fed ovens simply cannot do - pizzas are a tad pricey...but have unique and incredible flavors
