I tried to shop at this store, when the owner came running to the front door as I was entering with my baby in a stroller, rudely telling me I was not allowed to enter with a stroller. Strollers were not permitted in the store.Was taken aback by how rude he was, as I did not see any sign. He could have spoken nicely or had some customer service skills to nicely tell me that there was a sign. Will never be going back.

.Carl carries quality home decor products and provides excellent customer service.Whenever we are looking for items (furniture, decor, artwork etc.,) we visit his store.(We just purchased some beautiful pieces for our console table.) He has unique and beautiful products, his prices are comparable and we always receive compliments from our guests when we add one of his products toour home. Now a repete customer, Carl's expertise in home decor and his knowledge as to what we like, has made our shopping easier.I highly recommend you visit his store, and especially, if you are looking for something special for your home.P.S. This store brings beauty and culture to a very simple town. The inventory is spectacular and usually only found in big cities. I'm so glad they chose Wiarton to open up shop.

We were told to put away our unopened bottle of water upon entering the store. Owner came across as very pretentious and condescending. When I told him the retail furniture company I work for, he commented that my store was "low-end". Perhaps not a good idea to insult your customers...

Really nice tasteful things - art, ornaments, furnishings. The proprietor was a nice bloke and let us in with our water and had a chat with us. It's all very well priced as well. I bought some Royal Worcester bone china, coz I'm classy innit.

The man came off as very rude and unfriendly. Felt like we were inconveniencing him by shopping there. Lots of great stuff but I'll find it somewhere that actually wants my business.

We went into this store on a sunny Saturday in June; no one else in there, just a calm mature couple with Tim Hortons coffees in hand. We were browsing around contently until the owner comes downstairs and without preamble rudely told to step outside to finish our coffees because "we have a rule for no beverages in this store". The rule is fair enough, but he spoke to us like he was a principal lecturing school children. We are a laid back couple in our late twenties, quietly looking around for a gift for a friend. I understand the rule but there could have been a more hospitable way of letting us know. He just sent out potential customers. Otherwise the things in the store looked lovely, we likely would not have left empty handed. Hope the owner learns some small town service etiquette for the future.
