“Was in Unionville for the first time yesterday and had no intentions of purchasing anything as many boutiques are very pricey and poor quality. I was pleasantly surprised as prices were extremely reasonable. There was a variety of jewelry and other goods. Ended up buying two pieces of jewelry and I’m excited to wear them. The sales lady mentioned she’s owed a piece from this shop for years and it still looks brand new. Hoping this is true as I’ll definitely be back!”

“Excellent customer service from this location! I took my family to buy shoes at this location. We were greeted upon entering and was offered help right away. They had a wide variety of shoes and lots of sizes. There were a lot of customers in the store but all the workers kept making sure all customers were taken care of. Wonderful experience and would definitely return and recommend!”
“It’s a very small space but there is a huge selection. My main issue with collecting die cast such as hot wheels was that many stores never stocked them and many would be ripped out or impossible to find. Here there is a wide variety of brands such as Tomica, BMC and MiniGT. And it’s easier to drive out here than to pay an outrageous Customs Tax. I must say I was happy with my Tomica Hummer H2 as it even had a fully working suspension. I would however like to see larger scales as I was unable to see them on their website either.”

“No trip to Uxbridge is complete without visiting Threads. This adorable little shop has an amazing selection of unique fashion and accessories suitable for everyone. I have never walked out of there empty handed. The hardest part is deciding what you can live without! Make sure you check out the sale racks too…there are always awesome deals waiting to be scooped up. You can’t beat the service, atmosphere, and selection of small, local businesses.”

“I’ve been shopping at Lou Lou’s since they were located in Historic Unionville. Due to their new location on Markham Road, I’m unable to visit as often. But when I do, I always pick up a few things. It’s definitely a boutique experience, with limited sizes, but that’s the fun of it!! Some of my favourite dresses and sweaters come from Lou Lou’s. I’d say the experience is similar to TNT only with a more affordable price point. Lori and staff are always super welcoming, and she even gave me a credit that I need to use soon!”

She pulled multiple items from dresses, jumpsuits and coordinates for me to try on. As I was trying items on, she would come to check on me in the dressing room. “Roots carries a lot of high quality comfort and loungewear these days. Their sweatpants and sweat shorts are top tier in terms of softness and style. I know Old Navy likes to position itself as great for the whole family but Roots often makes the same things for men's, women's and kids!They don't have a ton of sales in their regular stores but I went in anyways. They have a super cute "Beaver Canoe" line right now. There are sweatshirts with and without hoods, and in a lot of colours. They even have a beaver plushie in matching hoodie. You know I had to get one of these.All of the staff were really helpful on this shopping experience. I wanted to try on my new threads so they helped me with a change room, then helped me unlock the changeroom when I accidentally locked myself out. They also weren't pushy which made for a comfortable shopping experience.”

“Friendly staff at this location; Markville mall. At Fairview mall Zara, change room attendant tells you to re-hang the clothes on the hanger before returning to them after trying it on (may be was just few employees? Or its a regular policy there?) We were made to feel like they are doing us a favor by letting us try on the clothes before purchasing. At Markville mall zara, everyone was so nice especially the gentleman working in the change room. I felt grateful for a normal service I should expect from all retail stores. He didn't repeat to everyone like an order to re-hang the clothes on the hanger and he greeted everyone with such positive attitude and offered to help with sizes. Although it wasn't asked, I went out of my way to hang all the clothes I tried on to perfection before returning what I didn't buy. I can tell this store hires and trains their staff well! Compliments to management also!”
