No one acknowledged me. I looked at quite a few cars in the showroom and in the lot and not one person approached to help me. The front desk ladies were too busy talking about their nails. This is my third time going to Stouffville Toyota with the intention of purchasing a vehicle. Each time I'm ignored. I'm not showing up with a shopping cart and bindle. Not sure why I keep coming back. Ended up going to Newmarket Audi to purchase a vehicle.

Lease Buyout Warning ‼️
Buyout amount is $662.75 more overnight. If you asked Ali Ahmad to change your wrong birthday information on Retail Instalment Contract, he changed the buyout amount from $9,094.06 to $9,756.81 too. This is not a buyout, this is robbery ???
I’m suffering the worst buyout process right now, it has caused me and my partner so much pain, we couldn’t even sleep well, it’s most because of Ali Ahmad, who has been handling my buyout process. Honestly, I don’t know why this guy is still working there. Toyota, do you really need an employee who yells at your clients??????
I signed a 4-year lease with Stouffville Toyota in 2019, when the lease was about due, I ordered a 2023 version of my car. A few months later when my car’s lease was due, the new car didn’t come. I accepted to extend my lease to another year, which comes to August, 2024. I was told they still didn’t have the new car, also my lease couldn’t be extended anymore, I had to buy out my car. OK, fine, I agreed to buy out my car. Here comes to the most painful part.
I was referred to Ali Ahmad on August 12, 2024, he suggested 2-year financing because I would get a 1% loyalty discount when I finance next car. But I wanted to know the interest rate, because I was able to pay the whole amount, as long as the rate was reasonable, I didn’t mind financing, but through both phone call and emails, Ali Ahmad refused to tell me the interest rate, only told me a roughly monthly payment amount, since after the lease was due, Toyota still did a withdrawal from my account for the same amount as the last 5 years, I couldn’t calculate the exact rate right away, of course, who could?! So I asked him to send me a contract, then I could see the numbers on it.
OK, I received a contract (as showed on photo), the buyout number is $9,094. 06, the interest rate is 9.84% (way too high than I expected, I believe it’s high for most Canadians), so I decided to pay the whole amount. Also, they wrote my birth year wrong on the contract, so I asked Ali Ahmad to change it to the correct information.
I never received a new contract with correct information.
Because Ali Ahmad told me the contract was going to expire at 8:00 pm, I thought I couldn’t open it anymore (which I could actually). I emailed and called Ali Ahmad to confirm the buyout number ($9,094.06), just made sure there was no other fee, but with ignoring my phone call and email, he finally called me back, right before I was doing the bank draft. He told me to withdraw $9,756.81.
Later on I found the number Ali Ahmad told me was different than the contract, so I emailed and called him, no response.
Finally I received a phone call at 8:05 pm on August 22, 2024, he said the previous contract ($9,094.06) was wrong, I should go with his number ($9,756.81). He also lied that I already signed the new contract and basically yelled at me. Lol I never received a new contract, how can I sign it, who signed it for me??? He then sent me a ‘new’ contract, with my birthdate wrong this time, I also found the interest rate at the bottom is wrong too. So I highly doubt that he typed all the numbers during our phone call, otherwise why still so many mistakes ?
Help me understand here: if I chose financing, my buyout amount is one; if I chose to pay it upfront, my buyout amount is another. To save $961.22 interest, I chose to pay the whole amount, and you guys charge me $662.75 for not choosing financing. Well played ?
I have typed so many words to warn other customers about this finance game at Stouffville Toyota, the most important thing: be aware of bullying from Ali Ahmad, he literally said “it doesn’t matter how you made your decision” to me. Got it, you don’t care what’s good for your customer, how your clients make wise decisions doesn’t matter to you.

By far the best experience I’ve had!
Miguel helped my fiancé start too end. Updates about the car status till we were available!! The process was so smooth !! Very knowledgeable /helpful! If you are going, ask for Miguel you will not be disappointed!
