Wishing for the days when Longo’s was family owned and operated!

This is a very big store compared to some Longis, lots of parking and surrounded by all sorts of great box stores from Starbucks, pharmacy, Mexican food, Chinese-Hakka, and more. The produce is excellent, lots of prepared foods and an in store Starbucks is available. The store is well managed and maintained...very clean.

Just bought a strawberry shortcake yesterday.
Cake was stale and not fresh.
Had to throw them out.
Bought it for my daughters birthday but what a waste.

Very disappointed with my caprese sandwich… mold on the tomatoes and the mozzarella cheese was clearly old as it the edges were dried up and hard. Will not be purchasing from the fresh food section ever again.

Very disappointed! I have had good experience at this location in the past but today I ordered a 3 topping 16 inch pizza and am very disappointed in lack of toppings. You can take a look at the pictures and see what I mean. This has been the worst pizza I've had. Should have gotten my pizza from Metro instead. Won't be getting pizza here anymore

One Asian lady at the meet section was very rude. I browsing and she approached and asked me on a rude tone what I wanted, and I replied that I'm still deciding, and she replied, very rude and aggressively: "Hurry up!" ?

I've been living in Stouffville for two years now, and Longo's has been my go-to supermarket. I love how organized everything is and the consistent quality of their products. However, I want to highlight an amazing employee in this review.
Over the long weekend, I visited twice and encountered Sandy, who was sampling a few items. Sandy is extremely pleasant and kind. It's wonderful to be greeted with a warm welcome and a treat. Her nurturing approach really stands out, and it's always a delight to run into her. Sandy truly enhances the shopping experience at Longo's with her friendly demeanour and excellent service.

Someone needs to teach staff that tomatoes are NOT to have mold and also how to read a calendar (it is April now). Photos were from sections that had been tidied up very recently.

A bad experience turned good because another staff member stepped up to help. That's why I'm still giving Longo's a 5 Star rating. So this is what happened. I went to the Stouffville Longo's yesterday (Saturday, June 22nd, 2019 @7:35pm). All I needed to pick up were 2 live lobsters. I attended the seafood counter and notice 2 young gentlemen working behind the counter. One was wearing a red Longo's shirt and the other wearing a specialised white shirt. It appeared that the gentlemen in the white was designated for the seafood counter. As I approached the counter, I noticed that the seafood counter was in the process of closing. Both the workers had their backs turned to me. I thought, all good, the workers were busy. I don't mind waiting a few minutes. A few minutes passed and still no acknowledgement. I was thinking to myself, maybe they don't see me, so I speak up and asked if "I could get some help please?". The guy with the white shirt (We'll call him "white shirt guy" from now on), turned his head and with an annoyed look on his face said "we are closed" (Longo's was still open at this time}. I told him that all I needed was 2 live lobsters from the tank. He immediately replied, "all the machines were off". White shirt guy was rude and condescending to me throughout this whole situation. All this could have been avoided if he just did his job, and put the lobsters in a box. Its not rocket science. At this point, I was tempted to grab the 2 live lobsters from the tank myself and walking up to the front check out counter, but I didn't want to make a scene (lol ahaha, I'm the type of person who would usual do this). So i left the seafood counter and went to the front check out to see if I can find someone else who can help me in this difficult task of putting lobsters in a box. I attended the checkout counter(lottery station) and talked to a female staff member. She was professional and seemed very eager to help. She even called down to the seafood counter and told them to put 2 live lobsters in the box, from the conversation she was having, it was clear that the person on the other line (white shirt guy) did not want to do it. While this was going on another male staff member who overheard the situation stepped in and instructed the white shirt guy to get the job done. It seemed like he was a supervisor. I regret not getting his name. if it wasn't for him and the female staff member, I would have given this review a "One Star". When I returned to the seafood counter to pick up the lobsters, white shirt guy was pouting and had the audacity to tell me to "Come earlier" next time. Oh white shirt guy....so young and already so useless.
At the end of the day everything worked out, the Lobsters were amazing. I can always count on Longo's quality and service. We've been living in Stouffville for about 6 years and we are thrilled that Longo's is finally in the community.
Lesson of the Day: No matter what job you do, Just do your job well and you will go far in life. Its all about character.

Very clean. Nice staff. Some items seem overpriced. I will definitely shop here again.

Longos- 5/5- while the store is expensive it offers great quality and selection.
Giving this reading a 3/5 due to the Starbucks. Would rate this location 0/5. Staff are friendly but poor communication. You cannot use your Starbucks app at all here. Avoid at all costs and go to the one not located in the Starbucks.

Probably one of the worst experiences for in class cooking for March Break. Apparently the loft will charge you $40 even though your child can be 4 years old and expect them to drop them off without parent supervision. This program is flawed. I would not shop at Stouffville Longos.

Baskets no longer at the front door. Why?
