Very organized and clean store. Prices are very good, much cheaper than value village. When they have color tag sales you can get amazing deals. Plus they still have change rooms!

Excellent store. My favorite thrift store by far. New Oshawa one too. Although I do find Oshawa prices higher especially on housewares kinda stuff n decor.
I go to both all the time. Staff is great, friendly and helpful. I tell all my friends about Talize and to register for website to get promo notifications.

Had such an amazing experience with customer service today! I didn’t get her name unfortunately but I heard her mention she’s one of the new supervisors.
My baby boy decided to throw up today just for some random reason and of course I had pants and not an extra shirt!!! I wrapped him up in his blanket and went into the store, freaking out and just so stressed. I was already late to my meeting because of this and the lady at the cashier was so sweet and helped me remember I’m not the only one in this world struggling with the unexpected as a mother.
Thankyou so much to this lovely supervisor, you made my day much better. I always love coming to this location and it happened to be on the way.

I bought a pair of sandals September 15, i notice after I wore it (several days later it really hurt my left foot, looked at the size on the bottom the left is a 7 the right is an 8, took it back to the store, I basically was told they can't do anything, it's my fault for not checking, wtf.

Unfortunately, I don't know her name, but she was in charge of the fitting rooms. I briefly left my cart with items unattended for 5 minutes, and when I returned to purchase them, the attendant had taken my clothes and was hanging them up. When I asked gently to retrieve them, she responded in a rude and unprofessional manner, saying she couldn’t give them back in a rather unpleasant tone.
Her response could have easily led to a dispute. Fortunately, I am not inclined to engage in such arguments but this experience, over something as minor as retrieving clothes, was disappointing and made me reluctant to return

Awful place to work and shop, inconsistent with prices. They will lie that you can't use a $5 coupon and 10% off student or discount combined, it's always been allowed but middle management is greedy and keep changing things to keep profits higher

My friends introduced me to Talize a few months ago (I just got into thrifting) and it has become one of my absolute favourite thrift stores! I pretty much only shop when there’s a “manager’s special” (50% select categories, changes daily). I always go when I’m looking for dresses, long/short sleeve tops or blouses. I have found some great brand name items like Aritzia, Zara, H&M, gap/old navy, dynamite. I have loved everything I’ve purchased from there. I also love that they have fitting rooms so you can make sure you’re buying something that fits you. The Whitby store is always clean and organized and I’ve had positive encounters with all staff. Definitely recommend!

Has great collection of paintings with good prices. Pretty neat with almost no smell. Not lots of brands there. I noticed the prices are pretty high, found a wool coat for $115 like c’mon guys it’s a thrift store!

Really bad experience today as I always go to this Talize location. Today (June 30, 2024) about 8pm, is a very different experience. First time i brought my kids to check on their toy selections, a lady, curly white hair was standing watching my kids yapping “this is happening again” looking at my kids pacing back and forth slamming toys on the shelves. I don’t know what she wants or is she tired of her work but I don’t see my kids making a mess or anything as my kids are very organized. It made my family very uncomfortable I hope Talize will take a look into this as I have never experience this until today. Talize location is by whitby mall.

Linda in the fitting rooms and the manager on the retail floor made my experience at this store absolutely awful. I wouldn’t recommend this store.

The customer service here is absolutely disgusting, particularly the fitting room people. They’re always talking to each other and you seem like the biggest inconvenience to their life when you want to try something on. The old brunette lady with heavy makeup at the fits is especially horrible. Great finds, terrible service. You get what you pay for I guess.

No more reasonable pricing. All donations now being sent to Mission Thrift store. All employees are nice except for the manager and the supervisor who happens to be a very rude “lady” I suppose.
