The service at Owasco has improved tenfold over the past few years! I love to see this, as I’ve been a customer for years and years. I am so pleased with the service department - always friendly and helpful. AND the new car wash addition is a nice touch. Thank you, Owasco for stepping it up! I love my new VW and will continue to buy at Owasco!

Owasco is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. They are dishonest, they will not respect your time, and they will gouge you financially.A month ago I brought my car into Owasco for a left headlight replacement/bulb fix. Despite booking an appointment slot my car’s repair took over 4 hours. Within that time, I watched my car sit in their garage for hours, not being seen by anyone. As I waited for my repairs their service team texted me multiple times with various urgent repairs that were needed. Full disclosure, I know little about cars and their needs. I rely on the integrity of dealerships and garages to respect me and not contrive unnecessary repairs. VW Owasco will attempt to sell you on anything they can think of. Sadly, at the time, I took their word for some of the suggested repairs. Many of which in hindsight were complete fluff and predatory misdirection.The worst part is when checking in my car, the service advisor added repairs to my service appointment that I directly said I did not want done. After refusing that particular service (multiple filter changes, oil service, a few other items) he added them to my bill regardless and had me sign the authorization without my knowledge. Myself, like many people, are busy and only once I arrived home did I see these charges. I attempted to contact VW Owasco through the channels I had previously used to book appointments (phone, email) to ask about these charges and VW Owasco has ghosted me. For weeks now I have called, emailed, and texted their accounts (the same accounts they used to push services on me) with no answer. Keep in mind they were happy to reply when I agreed to their service offers but suddenly go quiet when I am asking for clarification on charges. As a front line worker, I don’t have consistency in days off where I am able to come in person or even communicate within their business hours. It’s so disheartening when the methods I previously used are ignored, effectively allowing them to hide and reject accountability. I don’t even want a refund for my entire visit, just a singular charge that was not agreed to.It is disappointing to interact with an established company which practices such underhanded methods to gouge their customers. I am a huge fan of VW as a brand, their cars, and my previous service experience. I bought my car from VW Richmond Hill and have only has amazing interacts with them, fair and clear service offerings, my efficient service / updates. Once I moved east I had confidence that other VW dealerships would be equally ethical. Owasco is the antithesis to all the good will VW and VW Richmond Hill built with me. All the hard work was done for Owasco, I am a life long fan, I plan to keep buying VW cars, but despite this they have tried their best to make me resent this brand through miserable interaction after miserable interaction. In writing this review, I see over a year ago I actually gave them 5/5 stars. I had a great first visit but truly I have had the worst visits since and VW Owasco actually impresses me in how much worse they are able to make their service.Dramatically, my time at VW Owasco can be summarized by the saying, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” Well Owasco, shame on me for bringing my car back to you, time and time again to foolishly expect dignified experience only be disappointed and mistreated. Shame on me for offering a smile, courtesy, and respect when you yourselves can barely do the same. In summary, I will never bring my car to VW Owasco again for service, I will never buy a car from VW Owasco, and I hope many more people also abandon your business.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Tanner at Owasco Volkswagen, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. The car was back to me at the time promised. The quality of the work was excellent. Another small, unrelated issue was discovered, and the mechanic resolved it immediately. Very professional.

When I went urgently looking for a new car Limas helped me feel comfortable and supported making such a big purchase. Limas is very personable and knowledgeable and acted quickly to help me find the car I was looking for with the add ons i wanted. Hassan was very kind and patient helping me with the paperwork and finding the right warrantys for me. Kevin, Saeed and Zach helped me on delivery day and were very friendly and knowledgeable. They really took the time to answer my many questions and show me how to use my new car. Tiguan Comforline 7 seater. Highly recommend Owasco Volkswagen and the Sales team.
