Someone name Perlita has been given my portfolio about an year now. Not knowledgeable, doesn’t do her homework, gets info from me because she is too lazy to check my files before calling then asks me why didn’t I update her. Very disappointing and unprofessional. I wonder if there is a way I can change the branch as my home branch if not possible to change her.

Whats the point of have a phone number when you never pick it up! They never even reply to the voice mails. I tried to book an appointment but but the latest they have got is 2weeks away. I guess I will just walk-in and hope that my experience is better than what it was on the phone

Been dealing with my father's estate.
Quality of service along with lack of response to emails along with terrible communication.
Would not recommend this CIBC branch to handle any personal affairs in the future

Wonderful frontline staff! Every single teller is helpful, and welcoming. Always smiling ( which can’t be easy when dealing with difficult customers). They deserve a raise!

I happen to be in the area and was in a great rush to do business transaction . There was line at the branch and I only had 15 minutes to complete the transaction to meet the deadline. I saw Saira Sehmi financial services Representative and requested her if she could help me she came back and said I’m sorry I cannot do the bank draft for you, but I can sure shorten the line up in front of you and she helped three people ahead of me and shorten the line . I was able to meet the deadline teller who helped was also very nice excellent service provided by Saira Sehmi very mindful thank you Saira. YOU DESERVE AN APPRECIATION.

The manager Thelma is a total narcissist. I tried to talk to her civilized, but she insisted on not doing anything to try and help me with my issue. She processed to laugh out loud to the other customers and receptionists as I left. I'll be reporting her to higher ups for terrible customer service. Avoid this location.

Showed up for my appointment just to find out that the lady I was scheduled with had been off sick for the past three days and no one reached out to let me know. They kindly scheduled me in 20 minutes later but was interrupted 5 minutes into the appointment, letting her know that her other appointment had arrived. She rushed through all my questions. Seemed as though her and her co-worker thought my financial situation was a joke because they couldn’t help themselves but laugh it up and give me no help or advice. Strongly suggest not going here and that the branch do something about their professionalism.

Absolutely worst experience here. 35 min wait to pick up a bank draft that I was told was ready. They had to prepare it while I was there and took an additional 20 mins to get it done. Very unprofessional and disorganized. Please don't use this branch and better yet don't use this bank

Walked in to open my account for the first time after completing online process, the branch honestly was not giving me good vibes at all. It looked like it was under construction or renovating, if they are actually doing either ignore my little rant. Anyways, I received the email after completing online process and it just says to visit nearest branch with ID and reference number. So I did. There was a guy infront of me and the teller was finishing what she had to do, he leaves, she tells me one moment please, then after the guy leaves she says, “oops, I was supposed to give this back”. Immediately, my confidence in CIBC went from 100% to not at all. They forgot to give the customer guy a paper they were supposed to give back… on top of that the teller tells me I would’ve needed to book an appt to finish the creation on my bank account, which I mentioned it doesn’t say in the email which was sent to me. She says she knows and doesn’t know why it says that. My partner opened a new account with a new bank as well, received the same email explaining to just come in with ID and they were able to get it done right there. The overall atmosphere of this branch, mixed in with what appears as construction, and the teller admitting she forgot to give the previous customer a document, I just overall want to rescind my application to open a new account and run for my life. I wouldn’t trust CIBC with my personal or business needs, what was Costco thinking when they partnered with them.
