I was given decent service at the store but wanted to flag something fishy, as it doesn't sit right after a couple of weeks.
When I was purchasing a new tablet for my kid, the young sales associate offered to have my screen protector replaced on my phone as well - on the house. It seemed like a nice gesture so I agreed, not knowing the timeline. She seemed anxious throughout our full transaction, but I thought maybe it's just her personality.
She handed off my phone to the young person they identified as the tech that said he could do it. Once it was done she said she would come find me in the store and it would maybe take 5-10mins. After passing my phone to them I started feeling really uncomfortable, and I noticed a few other front line staff also disappeared coincidentally around the same time.
I started asking after a few minutes bc it seems long for such a basic thing to be done - and also out of my sight. One staff assured me they custom 3D print the screen protector before it's put on. It took over 10 mins - can anyone confirm that is normal? I know it might sound paranoid, but it feels like they were looking through my phone or something. When one of the young guys returned it, he almost kind of smirked when I got it back. Never leaving my phone with best buy again.

Just tried to purchase new AirPods and a charger and experienced the worst customer service. There were 3 associates standing by the door and not one person said hello and asked if I needed help. When I finally asked two girls standing their talking with their backs turned to me I asked where I could get the product I was looking for she pointed and gave me a response with attitude telling me “Over there behind customer service” and then continued talking to her friend while rolling here eyes at me. The cashier seemed to also not be enjoying her role at customer service because her answers were blunt. As someone who has worked in a retail environment selling speciality product for 10+ years you would think a smile and friendly response to a customer would be easy but apparently not here. If I could give this best buy a 0 rating I would. You guys need to work on your customer service skills as they are atrocious.

Came in the other day looking for television help. I asked an employee working near laptops, Summer. She informed me that all TV department workers had their hands tied at the moment but offered me her own help, informing me that it was not her department but she was willing to try as I was in a rush. This was amazing service. She was honest, informative, sweet, and went out of her way to try and help me with what I needed. Absolutely amazing!!!!!!!! 10/10 service!!!!!

Bought an ssd that was reccomended for my laptop by a sales associate. I gave him the model of laptop and detailed what I was looking for. It was the right card but would not fit with the heatsink. I bring it back and explain, they say it's a non returnable item.
Why are sales associates pushing products you can't return?
No one said 1 eek about final sale during purchase, and it's a mistake on the associates part for recommending the wrong product.
I will be contacting the BBB as the associates shouldn't push 200 dollar products if the have no idea what they're for and what they fit, and they should tell the customer about the final sale at the checkout.
Shame on you best buy.

Horrible experience, I believe I was punished by staff for expressing my frustration regarding the process. I ordered a fan in store( whitby, ON location) and the worker told me it will be shipped tomorrow, he never mentioned, you must wait for an email to pick it up. After 2 day I went to pick it up, they said, it is not guarantee to be shipped on the time you were told, you must wait for the email. I got upset and I was not disrespectful at all, saying I should have got clear instruction that I was not coming all the way, my timing is very tight. I told them I will cancel it as I have no time to come back again. The worker said, the item must be shipped then we can return it. I waited almost 10 days and never heard anything regarding the order. I had to go back to the store and was told, you need to call costumer service we do not know. I called costumer service 5 days ago still heard nothing. Long story short, they made me go back three time and make a call and still nothing, I was told by the costumer service that the store could have cancel the order. very upset and never buy again at best buy. FYI, I have not got my order as yet nor got my money back.

Went to Best Buy Ajax and they wouldn't help me at all. Left and went to Whitby. Ty asked to help right away and spent the time to explain the details of the TVs and which one made the most sense to me. They didn't have my choice in stock I went home and research further and ordered the TV on Best Buy website. Thank you Ty for your help.

Poor service. I returned a product I purchased with a protection plan almost two weeks ago. The store received the item and is supposed to confirm if they will fix it or replace it within a reasonable time. I have called BestBuy three times, and they cannot verify the order status.
The response from the store makes no sense. I have reported this issue, and you can look for more details and call me if you want to provide a good service. This is the incident number: 47477028

Just bought a new tablet and had terrific service from all the staff I dealt with. Attal, Vee and especially Aislinn were so pleasant to deal with. They all were kind, patient and so helpful to me. Thank you Best Buy for your hiring practices in place. Your Whitby store has Exceptional Staff !!!

Purchased a laptop that I absolutely need for Sunday. Was told they don't really carry laptops in store, and that they'll process the order online and it'll ship straight to my door. Asked if it'll be here for Sunday, several employees including the store lewd told me yes. That package just got delayed until WEDNESDAY, and now I don't have a laptop for Sunday. What a misleading store this is. If I wanted delayed online packages I would've just ordered it online. Never shopping here again.
