I don’t usually visit this place that often but, my Mother does sometimes. I found a lot of customers bothered and even one Indian cash employee from Walmart was trying to play tricks on me as usual they always do with Hispanic people. Be careful of the cricket lovers my friends!

Edit- I will never be back to this location. I was accused of shoplifting at the self checkout for zero reason. The camara at the self checkout proved i did no such thing. Only for the attendant to stand over me the rest of my time scanning to point out I had a case of pop even tho there was other items that I still needed to scan. If I didn't need one item that I couldn't find anywhere else I whould have left my cart and items at the self check out and walked out. As the behavior of the young Indian woman was disgusting and completely uncalled for. Not to mention this same employee has harassed someone i know who is a police officer in the same way.
Staff is extremely rude. Told me I couldn't purchase barbecue charcoal even though it was in the middle of an aisle without any signs or tape. Even after I explain this I was berated. And given addude.
Since when are the staff allowed to decide what's essential. And to be able to tell customers they're not allowed to cook their dinner....
I drove one town over and was able to get my charcoal at another Walmart!

I’ve gone here 4 times in the past month, and the first time I saw the chicken on sale, got it for 3.38 2nd time no one was working delly when the cooked chicken is 3/4 hours old they have to put it on clearence, now I didn’t have time but I asked where the person was and they were “on break” for the 50 minutes of me shopping went again and same thing but I went at a whole diff time to avoid this no employee could help me, went yesterday and no one again went talked to the customer service and they called for someone to do it went there a girl working laughed at me insulted me then gave me the wrong price I said call and double check with them, and she said I don’t have to I know what is right, and I went back again to service they called her and she said if I come back over there she will throw the chicken out. While all this was going on my gf was getting our groceries, she got a phone chain so it doesn’t attach to her phone it’s 2.99$ we forgot to pay for it dealing with all that bs and we spent 87$, we stopped got McDonald’s after, then went out and got stopped by two people working at Walmart who then banned her instead of just letting us pay the 3$ cause she forgot while we were dealing with bs support, she then had to wait in a security room for 2.5 hours for pol ie to come to let her go, as someone who has spent mininum bare minimum of 5000$ this year 400-500 a month, I am disgusted by how they handle things at this store and I will definitely be going to a different store, (I’m not banned at all) but the fact that this much problems happen and time they waste when people want to buy groceries is crazy

**Walmart Welland Store Review: Disappointing Customer Service Experience**
Recently, I purchased an instant canopy with a mesh curtain from Walmart Welland. Unfortunately, when I tried to return it, I encountered a frustrating experience with customer service. The representative refused to process my refund and even dismissed my request to speak to a supervisor or manager. Additionally, I was not allowed to seek help from other staff members and was effectively told to leave the store. This lack of professionalism and refusal to assist left me deeply dissatisfied with the service.

Worst staff in any store I've ever been to. Never encountered more useless staff than the ones in the electronic department but they're all just wondering zombies. They put in self checkouts to save on staffing, then hired staff without brains. Good job. Also, great feeling shopping inside of a cage. What a horrible customer experience you guys are going for.

UPDATE.. The self checkout makes it easy for Walmart to continuously improve their hold on you.... Used the residue amounts of my gift cards with little hassle.. There was hassle, but it could have been worse.

Worst store ever for finding someone for assistance. Had video department page someone twice to help in small appliances and nobody showed up. Ended up going to Canadian Tire. They always have people to help customers.You would think as big as Walmart is they would have people to help customers. Will not be going back to Walmart .

It's a really big and well stocked store.. I didn't have enough time to explore, but it was big, and it had almost everything you could need. I got a lot of beautiful outfits for my baby... Great place to shop

I had a very disappointing experience with a cashier named Elizabeth. She is an older lady working the cash registers in front of the customer service desk. Around 6:15, she was handling my items roughly, shoving them after scanning. When she asked if I wanted a receipt, I politely declined, but she slammed it down on the counter on top of my items and said, "Take it." I expect better customer service, especially from someone her age. A refresher course on customer service might be beneficial.

My favorite part of this store is the photocenter/electronics. But thats because Darren is there and hes a hunk. ??Editing to say that there are some reasonable complaints here. But most are ridiculous and with a little bit of researching and asking questions you can find out why things are the way they are at the store.Most of the negative reviews are so inconsiderate of many things and not everything is going to go your way.As for the ones accusing all employees of being lazy and racist... seriously? You are scraping the bottom of the barrel with complaints at that point.Not all the employees are lazy. There are many that work very good.And the race card is innapropriate. So just stop.
