Was in the store in Welland and found them to be very pleasant. The older lady with the blonde hair (think I heard them call her Susan) knew her products and was very helpful. Satisfied customer

The older blonde lady employee either needs to take lessons in customer service or retire. Disgusting experience, spent less than 2 minutes in the store following her attitude. I've worked retail for years and let me tell you if she was to work anywhere else she would've been fired long ago (as I can tell this is a regular complaint from the other reviews I just read).
Will not be coming back and will advise friends and family to shop elsewhere. This business is NOT in the business of making money with employees like that.

I was in the store Saturday June 1st and the employee arrogantly asked me to leave my dollar store bag with them. I was embarrassed and after i left i will never return to this location in Welland on Niagara street. Lost my support. Bye.

I came into the store Sunday May 5. I was checking out when the store phone rang. A woman (not the one on cash) answered the phone. We heard her say "no we aren't hiring" very abruptly and hung up. After hanging up she said out loud "if you're not English don't ask me for a job" .. another customer heard her and let out a nervous laugh. Then she said "As soon as I heard the last name was Sing I was like nope definitely not".
I was honestly set back. I kick myself for not saying something. I was with my children and didn't want to get heated, but in reality it would have been a fantastic learning moment for my kids. Racism sadly exists in 2024. This was disturbing behaviour. Disgusting that someone can even say these words out loud, in front of other workers and a store of customers.
I will absolutely never go back there. Shame on you.

The one worker is super friendly and attentive. I appreciated her helping me find what I was looking for. When I visited last year I found the stock to be meh, whereas this time it seemed to improve a lot. I went for running shoes in particular and this store had a much better, larger selection than sportchek.
I’m not crazy about the no refunds policy. I had a hard time deciding which size I needed due to the security sensor blocking the top lace rung on all the shoes and not being able to lace them up all the way.

Went to buy my child a pair of shoes yesterday. A older lady was there, not friendly at all. And didn't appreciate her tossing my receipt on the counter. Won't be going back to the welland store.

Very friendly efficient service. Prices are comparable, not a discount store but the selection is good. Service is their strongest asset!
