Generally a good place for groceries. However, since they took out two rows of food to put in their beer and wine area, selection has diminished. Also, they don't have much local produce in the summer/fall, which is disappointing. Pricing is also on the high side.

Great store for the most part as it relates to what they have available. Brutally overpriced though and you end up packing your own bag half the time. No Frills service, Big Frills prices!

I have visited this store today.There are some old aged staffs at the customer service who are very rude to customers. I got help from an old aged lady at the checkout. She doesn’t have any manners to talk politely. She was very rude to me and talked so arrogantly. I have noticed the same behaviour from some other old aged ladies at the customer service as well.

The staff are long-time employees and are experienced. They are courteous and knowledgeable. Nice to see they practice inclusiveness. The store is very clean and well stocked. Always can find a relevant sale!

Happy to see conveniences that other grocery stores do not have: like a small Starbucks kiosk in store and a cute machine for cutting fresh pineapple. The pineapple as a whole was 4.99, cut into spears and put into a container came to 2.99- pretty good deal, and saved me work, plus it's fun to watch ?

So after discovering a new No Frills opened next to Canadian Tire in Waterloo, on Weber street that is now my go to for affording groceries. I now only go there for the wine cause the one employee Micheal is such a delight to deal with, now a good friend. His knowledge in wines is amazing and he knows exactly what to recommend for what you need your wine for. Also Donovan is pretty cool too and is accurate with the wine selection and suggestions. Finally one other employee there at the Self Checkout, her name is Doris and she is such a sweetheart to deal with, and so friendly and helpful she is right there for you when you need her help to scanning alcohol and or scanning your groceries. These 3 employees should get a raise for their excellent assistance and attention to detail. As for the pricing of food I cannot afford it as much anymore, the meat section is pretty good when there is a sale. I find the fruit and veggies pricing too high for me.
