I’ve never seen in my whole life “just a Store Manger” putting her own policy for such a big international brand hahahaI bought a jersey top that was on sale, usually sale items can not be returned, which i do understand, but when i got home i found out that it was ripped!Before heading to the store i called h&m costumer service, when they told me that this is exceptional and you can return it with the original receipt, so the next day i did as he told me.And that Store Manger insisted not to return it, she thought we are in a war ( i mean it’s not my problem that she doesn’t mind wearing ripped items! )So i had to call h&m costumer service in-front of her, they asked her to return it for me, but she was still trying to convince them that i might’ve ripped it at home so it can be returned ( wow she’s way better than Sherlock Holmes) ? anyways finally i got my money back.She’s such a bad Store Manger, and coming here to read the reviews proved my point, at least now i feel fair enough, no wonder why the store was so dirty and the fitting room was in mess with no one even standing there to assist costumers, i feel very bad for the employees working with her.

Rating a 1 star for poor customer service. Purchased a jacket that was on sale at the Waterloo location. Unfortunately didn’t go with the outfit I had in mind, went to return the next day at the Kitchener location and was told it was a final sale as it had a red ticket. The cashier did not tell me it was a final sale and it did not indicate final sale on the sales receipt. Asked if I could get a store credit and got a simple no from store manager. Called customer service number from the receipt but got nowhere because they don’t know what they do at the store. It wasn’t a lot of money but it’s simple customer service. Train the sales staff or be a bit more flexible with returns and offer a simple store credit.

I went to the H&M located at Conestoga Mall in waterloo Ontario, I was looking for some jacket and I liked one but I was confused between sizes and then finally I decided to take xl size and I did put back L size jacket on the table there. Then that store manager name TERRA shows up and started yelling at me that you can’t put it over there, you have to put it back where you took it from. I completely understand that I didn’t put it back at the same spot but there is always a way to say something, specially from store manager, she was so much rude and arrogant at the same time. But is this a customer service that you expect from H&M employees? and specially from the manager of the store. I really felt so low at that time because I have been to other stores and never ever seen such type of dealing with costumers.To be honest I have made a commitment that I will never visit H&M again no matter where in the world and will never let my family members and friends let go there. Such a pathetic and disgusting service never expected from you guys. I believe you should check the communication skills and politeness of person that you’re hiring.Such an unprofessional people working at H&M at conestoga mall, waterloo Ontario Canada.

The service here was absolutely terrible. On October 25th at 8:03 pm 2023 a fitting room employee walked in on me while I was in the change room. She didn’t knock to inform me she was coming in she just opened the curtain and forced herself in my fitting room to tell me I didn’t have my number of items on the outside of the fitting room. My concern is that it took this employee 10 minutes to notice meaning it wasn’t that important. She never apologized for walking in to this day. Along with that she told me to put the clothes back on the hanger which typically isn’t the customers job. My privacy was invaded and if I was naked which I could’ve been because my curtain was closed this would be a sexual harassment case. I spoke with the head manger and I was told that he asked his employees and apparently none recall the incident. Well I do and I expect something to be done.The name of the manger who did absolutely nothing to help is Ashish Bhandari.

Ordered and received a wrong item which is also adding to the bad customer experience.Poor Customer service from the staff in this store will not allow customers in trial rooms 15 min before the closing time. H&M Offer online-store returns and the staff at H&M Conestoga ask to go back to return by post. Cannot help their customers at all AND ARE LOUD, AND NASTY AT THE SAME TIME. SUCH A SHAME

Employees were very rude up at cash and wouldn’t honour the price on tags that was displayed. They then went and changed it in front of us to a more expensive price. Will not be shopping here moving forward! Price match policy is unclear and it seems like the associates are equally confused with no consistency.

Returns are a part of business. But at H&m no receipt no return or credit..Nothing. Pants were not worn. Had the tags on. Then she told me you cannot return anywhere without a receipt. That's not true.

Why do you close your fitting rooms at 830 when you close at 9? So stupid. I was ready to buy items and I left them there. Why remain open if people can't even try on the clothes before buying?

H and M...do better please. Visited your store today and specifically shopped the 4 to 5 and 6 to 7 year old sections of the store. I often shop online but today was special as I took my granddaughter back-to-school shopping ... a special day....and I knew she loves the clothes I buy her regularly thru the website. The store was a mess...no size definition...clothes all just jammed onto the racks with no rhyme or reason...the 'sale' tags 'buy two, get one free' was on some things but not others of the same thing...and wasn't even sure it that meant everything or just the ones tagged...you had almost nothing that I saw online...and no sales associates ANYWHERE to ask questions of...so disappointing. We did purchase one outfit...but went elsewhere for the bulk of our purchases. You would have snagged more $'s today if you'd been on your game!

Worst experience ever. Disappointed!!Lemme put in bullets to highlight the bullying these guys do to the customers.• Pathetic customer service: the guy near the fitting room asked to put the clothes back to the hangers to help him do his job. Are they not paid for it @H&M ?• The guy supposed to help us in billing idk if he was the owner for sure which he thought of himself may be, asked if we are actually going to make a purchase? Who does that to the customer?• Same person making such nasty comments, constantly asked us to leave the store while we were still making the payments.Are they not trained properly, in context of customer service? @H&MWhat’s this behaviour?Never going back to H&M for this worst experience!!Period.

I was reminded why I don’t shop here. The staff have no idea what customer service means. There is no help offered, no smiles and no recognition of your presence at all. I felt like I was in the way. Poor quality as well and the racks are a mess. No wonder retail is suffering. Hire different staff if you want people to buy. I just wanted to get out of there.
