Believe it or not here you go, I called to make an appointment to come and test drive their one of their 3 trans am, the receptionist told me the owner of the forbes toyota dealership personally owns these 3 trans ams. The owner will let you see BUT NOT TO TEST DRIVE. The owner said you must BUY IT FIRST, then you can drive it. Do you want to buy a car from this dealership who owns this place? It says on their website to make an appointment to test drive. Don't believe the fake positive reviews.

We bought a used Highlander Hybrid from Waterloo Forbes Toyota
We had previously gone into another Toyota dealership in Ancaster and we walked out of the building after 4 mins as the salesman was so completely obnoxious and we were so not prepared to deal there
We then went to Waterloo Forbes and were very pleased to meet Adam who was great to deal with
We found him honest helpful and kind and we are very happy with our new car
We love it
Thanks guys you rock

Great experience and very supportive people. Alfonso was on top of the ball, always happy and energetic. It goes to customers. Thomas was also very helpful, knowledgeable, and nice.
Definitely best dealership experience ever.
If you are looking to buy a new or used car (and you like toyota), I would recommend to these people to explore your opinions and get service of your life.

Went in for a new SUV. The salesman was informed the choices presented were not large enough repeatedly. He refused to even share there was a full sized SUV available until I requested it by name. Then he only showed me an old used one that I said I wasn't in, but he didn't care. Lost a customer for life. Disgusting discrimination against a younger woman.

I bought a RAV4 this week and couldn’t be happier about the wonderful treatment and service I received at Forbes Waterloo Toyota.
Everyone I dealt with was a true professional - knowledgeable, pleasant and kind.
I met Alfonso, Leah and for a brief moment,Daryl ( to receive an amazing Yeti!). Each expressed their willingness to help and make my experience seamless.
I special shout out should go to product advisor Walid. Walid did an excellent job explaining all my options, walking me through the financing ideas at our first visit. He is very knowledgeable and wasn’t pushy and made me feel comfortable.
After placing the order he had excellent communication with me and then guided me through my trade in . When I picked up the car Walid was extremely helpful in explaining all the features to me- especially with all the technology. He checked in with me in the days that followed to make sure everything is going well with the car.
I can’t be sure of this but I believe Walid came in on his day off yesterday to make sure I got the car on a day that suited me- he went above and beyond.
He ends each communication with assurances that I can contact him any time if I have any questions. This is reassuring for me!!
In summary- thanks to everyone for all the attention and customer service. I will be sure to recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a car as I have experienced first hand the excellence that is Forbes.

I was interested in a car and requested some photos. During a phone conversation with the seller, he mentioned that there were no photos yet, but the car is very beautiful and looks like new, with low mileage. He also asked how I intended to pay: financing or cash. I hadn't even seen any photos, and he was already asking how I would pay. Eventually, we arranged a test drive.
The car's description stated that it had no incidents, had one owner, and low mileage. He also mentioned that it was driven by an elderly couple around 70 years old.
During the test drive, I noticed some issues. When I activated the L1 seat setting, the seat lowered significantly and moved away from the steering wheel, making it difficult for me, with my height of 187 cm, to reach the wheel. When I selected the L2 setting, the seat moved forward towards the wheel and raised up, causing me to get stuck between the seat and the wheel, with my head touching the roof. At that moment, I started imagining the elderly couple around 70 years old.
There were significant scratches around the handles on each door, and inside on the plastic door panels, there were marks that suggested the doors were held open with feet to prevent them from closing in the wind. The steering wheel cover appeared to be non-original. When the car was driving straight, the steering wheel pointed to the left.
The seller was so enthusiastic about the car, saying he wanted to buy it himself. After the test drive, I asked if they could fix the steering wheel position, but I didn’t get an answer. Instead, he said he didn’t even know what was needed for the car's safety and suggested leaving a deposit if I liked it.
As I understand it, leaving a deposit means signing a bill of sale, which means you’ve bought the car. What sense does it make to buy a car when the seller doesn’t even know what is needed for its safety? You might as well buy a car on a marketplace.

Terrible. I don't often leave reviews on dealerships but they earned it. I went to have my car serviced for a transmission issue and paid over $500 for a diagnostic that was nothing more than tightening the battery cables and resetting check engine light codes. (When I take the vehicle out of storage, I simply hand tighten them until a later date when I secure them properly, so no big deal.)
A month later the transmission problem recurred and I came back. The guy in the service area was extremely rude when I first brought the vehicle in and questioned whether they knew how to fix this type of issue. He flew off the handle saying: "Well it seems like you're the expert, and you know more about it than we do, so maybe you can fix it yourself". His attitude changed later that same day when I came to pick it up. The "solution" was that they recommended I bring my car to a transmission shop because they don't know how to fix it. (As I suspected.) I wasn't charged for the second appointment (because nothing was done other than resetting the check engine light codes again).
However, just the other day I noticed that my car wouldn't start at all. I was about to call a taxi but took a quick look under the hood. The battery connectors had come completely disconnected and the bracket that secures the battery had fallen off. Fortunately I was able to reconnect them and drive to the dealership. Whether it was deliberate or accidental, the end result is that on my second visit to the dealership, the mechanic (rather than use an OBD diagnostic tool) simply disconnected the battery to reset the check engine light codes, and didn't bother to reconnect the battery cables properly or the bracket before I drove off, so they came loose just a week or so later.
A properly tightened battery will never come loose one month after a visit to a mechanic.
After speaking with management, they acknowledged that the most likely cause was that the mechanic forgot to tighten them on my previous visit.
That's just sloppy all around service and it shows a total lack of care to make such an obvious mistake.
