“im correcting my review. keeping the 4stars for the branch manager only.i walked in to ask about the payment went through after i put a stop payment.the young girl sits at the counter, you can easily tell her attitude and SHE IS NOT WILLING TO HELP.She did not even take my card to take a look of my account info and notes, she has no smile and not even close to being polite. the only thing she kept saying is ' go talk with the payee and ask them to return your money back, and the payment in the future will not go through'I made a stop payment on 30th for my Sep1st personal cheque, but on the 1st the money was still taken from my account. then as a cibc client, whats the meaning for banking at a bank that is not protecting us? that doesnt make sense. Because when i made the payment cancellation on the 30th, i was promised that the money wont go through.then i left the branch and called my advisor, he then told me its not my fault and the 30th is good enough to stop a payment which would happen 2 days later. So i went in again to talk with the branch manager.And we can tell why somebody is a manager.The branch manager provides me the best patience and politeness and kindness while she stays on the top position of the whole brance, and she gives the best service even though shes already a manager. she helped me and i hope ill get my money back.i do hope the young lady will see my words and will work with smile and kind-hearted attitude in the future. and i do hope this is nothing related to racism. A counter lady/man is the only people that CIBC's clients will face, hope all the best”
