Unpleasant customer service experience
In the past I have had good service.
I recently brought items (package of shims and caulki/sealant) to refund that i had purchased the Collingwood location.
I took items to customer service desk and I was treated so rudely. I had a paid invoice with my credit card information on it and was rudely refused service because the associate, Dave said it was a cash sale when infact it has all the credit card info on it. He blatantly said "Why don't you return it to Collingwood?"
He also said "I don't trust you" insinuating I found this random receipt and found the items just to return in order to get cash.
He just brushed me away.
I like going to local stores and I know Home Hardwares are locally owned and operated but service like this give me reason to go to the bigger stores because I know I can get good service from Home Depot or
Well, from now on I'll go to the Collingwood location and every other store even this is local to me where I work.
I leave this review to help/spare others.
1. If you have to buy here don't expect great service if you have to do a refund.
2. If you have to deal with an associate, avoid the older guy named Dave who works customer service.

We’ve been in Wasaga for almost 5 decades and our cottage needed a desperate remodel. While we wanted to stay local, it’s not easy to find trades. We are extremely happy that we found Home Hardware Beach Builders. They have all the connections to local trades.
We worked with Gary, to get our internal doors and Juice for our kitchen. Wow!! They were fast, accurate and detailed. Highly recommend the folks at Home Hardware on Mosley. Thank you!!!

I have recently moved to Wasaga Beach and have been so impressed with this Home Hardware! Very helpful staff who are knowledgeable and patient with my dumb questions as I am not much of a handyman. I recently had a complicated return of something I bought on their website and had shipped to this location. Karen jumped through several hoops, and made several calls on my behalf, in my presence and some the next day, in order to make sure I got a full refund, though it was a little bit outside of the bounds of the customer return policy. Fantastic follow-up and really worked hard for me as the customer even though I was creating work for them with no profit. Very impressed and will be a loyal customer going forward.

I love this hardware store. Since moving to Wasaga Beach it has become my go to place for all things needed in home maintenance and improvement. The people are friendly and very helpful and take you around the store to find what you need. Even got rid of the stupid covid plexiglass things two enhance the personal one-to-one service they are so good at.

This gentleman goes above and beyond in my book,always very helpful to me when a have questions.
He helped deliver my new bbq today that he probably got tired of me asking questions about,he sold me on it and new all the answers to my many questions. Great guy!!!

I like this store...hoses are better than CTC....Made in Canada ?? is good better than Chinese. I'd like to see it bigger though. Really like the one in Collingwood s they have ♿️ scooters.

This location is the best hardware store I’ve ever been to and it’s because of the staff.
Multiple times in the past few years I’ve gone to customer service and had them offer advice on the projects and repairs and I was working on and I’ve always received excellent advice and service from the staff.
I head here first before going to any other hardware store because the people are always so helpful.
