The baba ghanouj produced by Summer fresh is garbage, there is no trace of eggplant! It doesn't have eggplant, it doesn't taste or smell any eggplant, even its pure white color indicates there is no eggplant. It tastes only mayo and sour cream. It is misleading and wrong to sell this low quality product as baba ghanouj!!

ONLY TO DISCOVER IT IS FUNDED BY THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT "FedDev Ontario works with businesses and organizations to create opportunities for clean, inclusive economic growth across Canada's most populous region" Yo remove clean from your statement that is a DIRECT lie. QC is non existent. I had to spit out the last salad I had. The packaging was hella sus and tasted sour. Pull the funding for this stuff. It is not safe for the public.

Similar to some other reviews (and to a nationwide recall) I too found a sharp object in my hummus. I immediately notified Summer Fresh and Health Canada/Quebec.
Canada/Quebec officials immediately launched an investigation. Summer Fresh, however, took over a month to respond and simply apologized that the product did not “meet my expectations” - seriously, that’s how they opened their email ?
It’s crazy how often Summer Fresh products have dangerous objects in them. Don’t buy Summer Fresh if you value your health - the spicy hummus just isn’t worth the risk.

The workers in office as well as in shipping and receiving are useless. Took 2 hour to offload 1 skid. When asked whats going on no body has any answer.

I love their couscous salad but the taste and flavours are extremely inconsistent. Sometimes it's more "vinegary" and/or more oily than others. The batch I bought today is way too salty. Please stay consistent.

summer fresh summer rotini salad absolutely horrible. Tiny little peppers why even include veggies in it, way over salted. Couldn't eat even a couple spoonfuls before throwing the rest out.

CONSUMER BEWARE: Bit on a hard rock with my molars in mouth from package sealed product. Had to visit dentist. Spoke to Binki Desai on October 17th, 2022 10:15am at customer service to hear back from Owner. It’s been over a year. Sent letter to Owner of company who ignored my requests to discuss severity of their handling procedures. Neither Binki or Owner of company returned my requests. Do not purchase Summer Fresh Salads because of hazardous quality control. Would give zero stars if I could. Will be reporting to Canadian Food Inspection Company. Still have full uneaten product in freezer.

Summer Fresh has the best prepared salads, hummus and dips! I love visiting their lunch market for warm meals and I always pick up some product to take home while I'm there as well. The store is now closed.
