“Great butcher, great selection of meats and great quality. I purchased some chicken breasts and was pleased to know that the chickens were Mennonite chickens and tasted great! Another huge plus for me is that they have a big vacuum sealer and will vacuum seal my meats individually which worked out fantastically for lunch prep. The prices are reasonable as well, if you're looking for a good butcher in Woodbridge, I would not look any further. Mario the owner is very friendly and funny so it's always a good time stopping by his place.”

“Very high quality local meat products we always go there to buy our meat or cold cut. You can also buy fresh eggs from local farmers, bread, spices or ice cream. Compared to the big grocery store next door obviously more expensive but if you prefer quality over getting a deal than you are here right. And the people are friendly and helpful too.”

“Came to buy a whole lamb. It is on sale. They cut it up for me and did a great job. The only thing is you take a number, and once served, they tell you to go pay, then come back, and we'll cut it for you. Also, I was disappointed that it didn't come with the head or liver. If I had known this before I drove here, I wouldn't have purchased it.”

“Today, I purchased a rabbit, prime rib roast, veal sausages and white provimi veal brisket. Chicken and turkey is our regular choice but really needed to change it up. I was very happen with the selection. This is a full service butcher shop. Brown fresh Farm eggs were $ 12.50 a flat. Large assortment of cheeses, olives etc. Bonus today was the ciambella, which now I am told arrives in almost everyday. Cost is $ 3.99 each but my friends & family look forward to eating it. I was lucky today , during my short wait to get served , a free espresso served to me.”
“Bought at local health food store in the states, amazing products and it's Halal. Very limited to meat choices due to small town and shipping meat is very expensive. Bought a bunch to share with brothers out at prison I've been volunteering at and they were truly amazed. Tried to email and there seems to be some problems with it not working/submitting. “Ok, i know this place is not where Canadians with a non-latino heritage would go shopping, but hear me out. If you are in that group, please do not hesitate visiting this place. The butcher counter is to die for; really good quality meats, nice cuts that you cannot find just about anywhere (i'm talking to you, vacio and peceto), and it's very likely you are wound up to try a different cut that would not be usually served in your average north american butchery (and i assure you, you will like it). And, if you DO have latino background, what are you waiting for? this place has everything (quite literally; they even have powdered drinks like clight, tang and others, which we latinos know we cannot find anywhere else here in Ontario). They also have a bakery with baked goods, churros, alfajores, facturas, sandwiches de miga (tea sandwiches, tramezini), empanadas, tartas, you name it. It's ***BUSY***, especially on weekends, so go there with plenty of time. They speak english, so they will be able to help you if you don't speak spanish. Must try!”
“Picking up already cleaned and trimmed pork intestine to grill was convinient. It was nicely vacuum packed. They don’t always have this product but they will announce it on IG once they have it. Also picked up frozen beef belly to grill as well.”
“First of all, Yelp needs to change the name from John's to Visconti's. Since the change of ownership it has now become my go to place. The shelves are always stocked. The ice cream is actually frozen and/or not old. The staff is kind. The meat refrigerators are always working and not leaking all over the floor. And the staff is kind and courteous. Thank you for bringing a pleasantly much-needed grocery store to the area.”
