I had the electronic anti-rust module installed on my car upon purchase and I have rust on my roof only 2 years after purchase. The dealer sends a repair request for the 2nd time. The Final Coat company wants to wait until it is completely punctured before repairing, which is completely insane. I therefore reserve my judgment... and I will readjust the number of stars accordingly.

I purchased a used car with final coat installed on it from new. Noticed rust on the vehicle after a couple years of ownership, and begin the warranty process, and was quickly told because I didn’t transfer ownership through final coat to my name I was SOL.2 things to take away here - 1. rust will still happen, even with final coat, installed on a brand new vehicle.2. They will try to find loopholes to not cover the warranty that they claim they provide.

The products and service from Final Coat are exceptional. Value and pricing is more than fair, and they stand behind their products with amazing warranty! Would never purchase a vehicle without the Final Coat paint, interior and corrosion module protection packages. They have gone above and beyond on several occasions for our customers where warranty claims were handled by a team sent on site to repair with unprecedented care. Their team of experts, especially Account Manager Marco M is first class all the way. Cannot recommend more highly.

Do not purchase rust warranty through Final Coat or warranty record center! When time comes to file a claim, you will be rudely told that due to a contractual loop hope, there will be no coverage!I purchased a used vehicle with final coat rust protection on it. After owning it under a year, I discovered multiple rust spots on my vehicle and went to the local Mazda Dealer to start the warranty process. I found out that I was not registered as the new owner of the vehicle within 30 days so I can go fly a kite…

Horrible product. Both of our cars have rusted. One is rusted so bad to the point that the motor mount is rusted through. Unsafe to drive on road. We have three cars that do not have the rust prevention module, all older than the two that do. They are all in much better shape with little to no rust.

This extended rust/upholstery warranty is not worth the paper it's written on. This was sold to me as extra protection through Dilawri Mazda for a brand new car. They rejected 2 claims through very ambiguous fine print in the coverage. 1- Salt stains on the carpet would not be covered (the reason given to me was that they would lose too much money if they started doing that) and 2- The paint started to bubble on my roof, which then started rusting. I brought it in right away, but because the paint bubbles had burst, no coverage.Stay away from these "extended warranties" - the fine print ensures most common issues are not covered.

This product is a waste of money. I bought it on my $40,000 vehicle and 6 years later is it rusted and peeling everywhere. But there was a loop hole. I needed to get the acid rain sealant put on it. However I was never informed of this. Do not put any of these products on your vehicle they are a complete waste of money.

I have a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica that was bought through a friend. The CM2000 Corrosion Module which cost around $2,000 was installed on it by the "Authorized Dealer" Dilawri Chrysler Hunt Club in Ottawa, ON when it was still brand new. The module is promoted as prevents rust and in the event of rust, the company will warranty any rust issues and repair it. Well, 3 years passed and Rust began to show on the tailgate of the vehicle. So we brought this matter up to the dealership whom supposed to have forwarded it to Final Coat. However, nothing happened over 2 years of complaining. Then I took the matter more seriously as the rust began to dig deeper into the metal. I've finally got Final Coat to schedule someone to take a look at the car. The surprise, Final Coat said they will not repair it because the Rust did not become a hole yet!!!! I asked for further clarification and they said the rust spot need to be physically visible as a hole to be considered covered under the warranty. The warranty states, rust would be repaired if: 1. Sheet Metal corrosion damage as defined under the vehicle's manufacturer's new vehicle warranty, or 2. Rust perforation (home) from the outside in, even if the corrosion damage was originally caused by stone chips and scratches on the doors, quarter panels, rocker panels, wheel wells, hood lid, trunk lid, roof and floor boards. Well, I got two quotes from reputable body shops and they both said this rust is considered preforation even it did not actually become a hole. Final Coat is TOTAL SCAM. Not only the module does not work (which I strongly doubted it from the beginning) but also they will refuse to repair the rust. The company goes by many names: Final Coat, Warranty Record Center, Canadian Auto Preservation Inc. My Claim# 272304 if anyone wants to verify this case. Stay away from any rust modules and in particular from any dealership that sells their products. The sales person will try to convince you they do warranty repair but that is also a scam. If they ask, you want Rust Proofing with that, say NO. Avoid Final Coat at all costs , they don't protect against rust.
