“I went there on September 4, 2024, to buy some cellphone stands. An associate by the name of Najeem was helpful in locating some. He was very friendly and was not intimidating to approach if you required any assistance.
When I went to check out, Michelle was the cashier. He had a great smile and was very personable. Also, he was more than happy to give me extra free plastic bags when I requested extras.
Overall, my experience at Canada Computers at the Ottawa Downtown location was great, and I would definitely go there again.”

“I have always been amazed by this Canada Computers' repair service. They have always fixed my computer within a few days, despite their general estimate being 2-3 weeks, and its always for much cheaper than expected!
Just recently, I dropped my laptop and the screen was poking out a bit in a corner, and I decided to shop around to see which repair location could offer me a good deal on the repair.
Best Buy barely looked at the computer and without even explaining what they planned to do (at least not until I asked) they said the repair would cost $300-400 and would take 3-4 weeks, since they had to ship my computer off to Toronto. They also tried to convince me to just get a new laptop instead. I was shocked because the repair seemed minor to me because the screen was working fine.
Canada Computers on the other hand took their time during the initial diagnosis to explain to me that at worst, they would need to replace the screen, but at best it could just be that something got loosened when I dropped it and just needed to be put back in place. They said they would do an official diagnosis for $50 and we'd see what repairs needed to be done later. LESS THAN 2 DAYS LATER they called me saying my computer was fixed (AND IT WAS with a cleaned screen too) and they didn't even charge me more than the diagnosis fee!
I 100% recommend this Canada Computers and I will NEVER be stepping into a Best Buy again.”

“I received excellent service today when buying my new cell phone. Trisul was endlessly patient and intelligent in helping me find the best price and package and then signing me up. Also thanks to Aisha, prath, tulika, vanshika and Adrianna who also helped me and gave me exceptional service. I also learned that best buy helps lower our cell phone bills by creating access to several providers in their store so one can easily compare one provider to another to find the best deal. Also since best buy employees don't get commissions staff only sell you products you need. It's good to find a store like best buy that cares about it's customers and I am definitely extremely happy with my service”

“As big box retail goes, this Best Buy has always impressed me. They are prompt to greet you (even though it may be to a fault at times). The associates are good at caring for customers and do what they can to help you out on a consistent basis. I have used their insurance policy (bad pair of Bose headphones) and aside from a little runaround to make sure everything was returned, they did honour it and I appreciate their efforts. The replacement headphones I got (Apple Airpod Pro 2nd gen) are easily the best pair of headphones I've had. I'm always happy to shop here and the location in Kanata.”
