Hummus I bought yesterday (December 22) had a best before date of a week ago (December 16 ). Didn’t notice till I got home and my family finished the whole container. Partly my fault for not checking the date however product should not be being sold a week after the best before date especially at full price. Meat is also a hit or miss and will spoil quickly. Be sure to check expiration dates on product before you buy

It's clean and has more variety then other store like food basics but the prices are just so expensive. Only come to metros if you can't find the things you need elsewhere.

Metro isn't usually my go to store but maybe it should be. When I'm looking for something a little different, like fresh Ontario lamb or fresh turkey, they've got it.

Poor Management decisions and cost cutting! I will be going elsewhere and so will my extended family. No more small baskets provided. It is cashier responsibility to not let patrons leave with these baskets now we all get punished for their inactions.
