Canada Post is the only ones that don't deliver the package and close so early that you have to take time off work to go before they close.. horrible hours and service!

Every experience with the Val Caron Post Office is a good experience. All employees are very professional but keep a small town attitude towards customers. A-1

I absolutely LOVE the staff
There is one member that makes smile or even laugh.... not sure what her name is though.

I live in the valley - mail service is not door to door.
When i order parcels and like most, i pick up at the outside kiosk if / when possible and when duties/fees are due, canada post expedites home delivery - when not home, i am carted “notice attached to my door” not my kiosk mail box, to attend the post office.
When i order online, i make a point to be available so i can accept the parcel. Today and in past similar instances, I get a notice of a failed delivery attempt and that i have been carted — there is nothing attached to my door = so my mail box at the kiosk has been carted! Service in the valley sucks compared to sudbury who gets door to door. When i called CP i got a bunch of lame excuses, as to why the package was not delivered - i live 4 houses from the mail kiosk. I would wager that the package never left the Val Caron post office and that the “cart tags” were drawn up at the Val Caron terminal - this would be the efficient way to do it. If this is the new way of business then fine, be efficient, update your “carting statement” do not lie or spin mistruths that would suggest an actual attempt was made, and just state - a package is available for pick up and leave it at that.
