Kiara is amazingly talented groomer. Very generous with her time and makes sure you get the exact cut you want for your dog. She is gentle and sweet with my dog.

My partner has gone to Zendog for years and has loved them, I went for one of the first times today and was met by a very nice employee named Thomas. They were very helpful and informative when asking about the items I was purchasing. They had a great selection of pet toys as well. Thanks!

We came in to trim my dog's nails. My dog is 9 months old. The groomer trimmed the nails in 3 minutes .I got a dog with bloody paws , each nail she trimmed close to the flesh . The dog feels very uncomfortable! I specifically take her to a groomer so I don't hurt her or hurt her at home. But I did not expect this kind of service ! It's horrible!

After I had an incident with my dogs nails and they cancel last minute my appointment due a medical issue of the groomer. The owner called me to offer me a second appointment for free and this time my dog was completely beautiful. I really value the customer service and the quality time that the owner provided me. Ashley was so friendly and lovely with Lana ! Thanks !

This review is for grooming services — our shih poo has had the same groomer for 11 years, who recently retired. Ashley took on the challenge of filling in big shoes, and she took very good care of our dog. Our dog is usually nervous/anxious/stressed/all of the above in new environments and around new people, and especially so when it comes to grooming, so I was very nervous. Turns out there was nothing to worry about - he was a calm happy boy when we went to get him post his fresh new cut. Ashley also took time to chat with us both before and after the groom, and reassured us that he was in good hands (literally).
Also a great experience leading up to the appointment with William (the store owner) and briefly with his partner (and baby!), and met some other patrons in store who vouched for how wonderful the shop is — without being prompted.
Overall good vibes in a spot run by genuine dog people who care about your pets. Always happy to support local family businesses.

I get my cat’s wet food here. The service is always pleasant and welcoming. Pricing seems competitive and similar to other stores.

After taking our mini schnauzer to two other grooming locations, we were told that our dog is too aggressive and he can’t be calmed down. Nobody wanted to work on him.We are so happy that we found zen dog! The place is clean and has lots of pet essentials for sale.More importantly, Maggie one of the groomers was able to immediately calm our dog down and she gained his trust.She did an amazing job on cutting his hair and nails. Our dog came out looking like a brand new dog!.Thanks Maggie for your patience and professional work!Highly recommend Zen dog.

First time there the employee working there told me, “they don’t think any of these are made in Canada”, after asking what dog food was made in Canada as I rather support local brands oppose American brands and to ensure my pets are getting locally sourced food.Right after my purchase I turn around and see the brands right behind me were “Made in Canada”Other than that the organization of the store and selection they serve without a doubt is of quality and well thought of to reach your individual pets needs.Might visit again, but would love to have a bit more help when I see products I don’t know about nor see in other pet store near by. The lack of expertise on the handful of products they offer from the employees working there may deter me from going there again.So I settle for what I already know.
