Every time I need to buy a drink after 10pm I go to this place. It's cheap and the service is cool.

Another place that isn't quite an LCBO but has several brands of wine. Mostly local.

Great location. Open later than LCBO stores usually. Good prices and service.

Decent selection but the draw is the expanded hours. Always a good choice when you’re looking for options late in the evening.

I was given a sample, and then I explained to the staff who seemed oblivious that these little plastic cups that they are serving hundreds of samples on would be great to be recycled. I told them that they could bundle them up and take them outside where they could be recycled. They just said, oh we don't recycle. I said I know that! But the city does, so you can by taking them outside. Or you could always contact head office and demand that they start recycling! On my way out I said I can't stand businesses that don't recycle. They make millions and wreck the planet ?

Definitely gotten better over the past year by introducing more variety of wines. There’s only so much Jackson Trigg’s and Inniskillin I can enjoy because I’ve had them all.

I received assistance in choosing red wine and growers. I've been a customer here for a long time and seen this store outlast the beer store around the corner. Some choice selections for sale items.

Let me just preface this by saying I have only ever had positive experiences at this wine rack previously. Today's experience, however, was quite a disappointment and, frankly, would have never occurred with a competent employee. After collecting a few ciders, a lady with a the store manager badge, who I have not seen at this location before, asked for my ID (I have zero problem with this, as while I often don't get ID'd, I look under 30 which by law requires her to ask for my ID). I subsequently handed her my US drivers license. I have NEVER had an issue with anybody legitimizing my ID (dispensaries, LCBO, bars, etc.) After bending it and examining it excessively (its quite a stiff card and has all of the raised lettering as well as the holographic pieces, so I don't know what the problem was), she says I need to give her another piece of physical ID. Sorry I don't carry my passport around with me? Not having another piece of ID, she declined me service because "even though I'm sure it is, I don't know if this is real or not". Additionally, there was no attempt to look up the defining markers of a legitimate ID from my state, which I have seen done to my friend's international ID at LCBO. With such a high population of international students/immigrants in this area, is she just not going to serve anybody without an Ontario ID? I have worked in a position where I had to check IDs for years, so I am quite understanding of employees in this position. However, if she is unable to verify or is unfamiliar with forms of ID, maybe she should not work a position that's PRIMARY responsibility is to be familiar IDs. I used to go to this Wine Rack frequently, but will not be returning, as the environment has shifted from the knowledgable and welcoming to corporate and incompetent.
