As indicated on the site, customs fees must also be expected upon receipt for certain countries. For sending to France, the postman asked me for €7 in VAT at 20% on a model billed at €35 + €8 in costs.

My kids and I are starting to paint d and d minis and I needed a few extra things to start. Great place to ask questions and have confidence the answers you are getting are from passionate people who want to help. An absolutely phenomenal selection of models and supplies. A real gem of a store!

This is the best hobby shop in Toronto. Period.
The selection is top notch plus the staff is fantastic. They are knowledgeable and friendly, willing to help each customer with their inquiries.
I have been shopping here for nearly 10+ years now and have no plans of stopping.
I highly recommend Wheels & Wings if you are a veteran model builder or a novice. They will help you with honest opinions and help you get what you need.

Really great hobby store with an amazing selection of paints, supplies, models of various types. The employee helped me with purchasing an airbrush as well and was very insightful. Don’t buy from Amazon buy from here.

Amazing selection of kits, cars, armor, aircraft, gunpla, there's something here for everyone, and they manage to maintain focus on models and model building tools, reference material, and supplies while still filling the place from floor to ceiling.

I went here today, July 20, 2024, to look for a new model. I am getting back into making model cars and needed a new kit and supplies. I met the owner and had a brief chat; lovely guy who seemed like a great small business owner. They have a great selection, and once I picked out the car, I asked the guy at the front about the paint. It's been over ten years since I made a model car. I mentioned to the guy that I used Testor's, and he gave me a smug laugh and said they haven't made those in over four years. I asked him what he would recommend for a model car, and he refused to answer me because I didn't know whether I wanted enamel or acrylic. I wanted to see what would be most suitable, and he made it so difficult for no reason. I finally said it didn't matter; I just needed paint, which was ideal for the kit I was holding in my hand. He gave me this condescending smile and just pointed in the general direction of where the paint was.
At that point, I just put the stuff away and walked out. I was excited about starting the hobby again and set aside $300 to get all the new stuff. I understand the question was rudimentary, but you work in a hobby shop, my guy. There is no need for a smug, condescending, and dismissive attitude towards customers. I hate giving a bad review because the owner genuinely seems like a great guy, and so does the other staff member working that day. On the other hand, the guy at the front with glasses and arm tattoos is a complete waste of air, let alone whatever money the owner is wasting on his salary. I suspect nepotism is the only reason he has the job in the first place.

THIS PLACE IS EPIC. The selection is pretty much endless. Planes, cars, Gundam, Pokemon, sci-fi you name it (apart from trains and RC), they most likely have it. All the staff is super super friendly and helpful. There's always great deals on all sorts. The owner is in store sometimes and what a guy! From the small things to the big, Wheels and Wings has never failed for me!
