“The Handwork Department is an awesome vintage shop. I saw a variety of items from; Typewriters, Cameras, Records, and Coins. From all different times from; the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70, 80s, and even from the late 1890s!

They also have items from all over the world, from The United Kingdom, to Chile, this place really has almost anything vintage, I highly recommend.”

“90% percent of every piece of clothing within this shop is expensive however, the clothing IS worth the price if you can afford it. The staff are pleasant and don't bombard you the moment you walk in l so that's sweet. Everything is in great condition that's a plus and there's store hours are okay too. Bottom line——— fantastic place

Overall pricy but...ꉂꉂღ(>ᗜ<*)༡??
1. Very well organized
2. Colour coordinated
3. Friendly staff
4. Knowledgeable
5. Has Edwardian attire as well
6. Clothing is not limited when you
enter the change rooms
The best thing about this place they don't make you feel bad when you leave a piece of clothing behind. Whether you don't fit them, it's out of your price range, whatever it may be. They simply say," whatever you're not feeling leave in the change rooms we'll take it" I think my heart skipped a beat ? that's the best part ♡♡♡♡♡”

“Klaxon Howl and its owner, Matt, are hands down one of the most stylish places I've ever been to. The store exudes great vibes, with good music and tasteful vintage pieces alongside Matt's elegantly crafted clothing.

Got a solid welcome and all the support needed, not only to try on some pieces but also to learn more about their materials, fit, and craftsmanship

It was an amazing experience at a sensational store!

Much respect! I'll definitely be back ????”

“Over a month ago I made a purchase online that unfortunately got stolen at my doorstep. Colleen was so understanding towards my situation and was able to file an insurance claim that resulted in a complete refund, while communicating so promptly! Will definitely make more purchases from Philistine in the future :)”

“Have been going here for years and it's one of my favorite thrift stores in the city. Great selection of stuff and competitive prices on really lovely pieces. The reason for the one star off is because within the last year, there have been three separate times where I've dropped by during advertised open hours, and they've just been closed. I would check their socials to see if there's been any disruptions and nothing. I've even dm'd them to inquire but no response. I saw some other reviews comment about the same issue. Just wanted to post this in case it happens to someone else.Super frustrating but hope things get worked out soon.”

“I celebrated my birthday at Loved and Found recently with four other girlfriends. Michelle (the owner) and her staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had the loveliest evening ever! From a delicious appetizer spread paired with drinks, to scoring some amazing shopping finds, to making diner reservations for us at nearby Venga Cucina, I could not think of a better and more fun way to spend my birthday! I HIGHLY recommend the store and the experience!!”

“I recently visited this fantastic vintage shop, and I was blown away by their incredible selection of vintage and Y2K clothing! They have such a wide variety of items, but I have to say, their dresses and babydoll tops are my absolute favorites. The quality of the clothing is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable, making it accessible for everyone who loves vintage fashion.

One of the highlights of my visit was interacting with Mandy, one of the employees. She is not only super sweet but also a beautiful person inside and out. Her friendly demeanor and helpful attitude made my shopping experience even more enjoyable. Last year, I had the pleasure of meeting Natasha, who I believe is the owner's daughter. She is also incredibly sweet and lovely, which speaks volumes about the kind of people running this shop.

Although I haven't had the chance to visit their Queen St W. location yet, it's definitely on my list of places to check out. Based on my experiences so far, I'm sure it will be just as wonderful. This shop has quickly become one of my favorite vintage stores, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for unique and stylish vintage pieces. ?✨”

“Penny Arcade Vintage is exquisite! Rachel has the best taste and picks truly beautiful vintage items of the highest quality at affordable prices. She picks gorgeous silks and knits, and the curation is top notch. There's also fantastic vintage home wares and art prints, as well as great 'new item' options like soaps, candles and skincare made by mostly local and Canadian makers. I love coming here and finding treasures, and it's one of my favourite local places to get gifts for people. Thank you Rachel!”

“Whenever my little one needs new clothes my first thought is to pop by this lovely store. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind and items are very reasonably priced. You can often find brand new clothes with tags on priced way lower than they retail even when on clearance. Items are always in good condition.”

“I've been consigning at Garb's for 7 months now and have only the best things to say about how Garb runs their business. During this time, I checked out other consignment stores and realized the things that make Garb stand out from the other businesses.

They are responsive and easy to work with. Dan has high knowledge of fashion trends and brands. I trust my items left here and it's easy to pick up payment. Thank you so much!”

“Unbelievable place. The worker told me that this was the most curated of their three shops and the prices reflect that a bit but it is so worth it. I got a carthartt hooded vintage jacket, a pristine White Stag raincoat and a custom made raw silk jacket for under 90$ and with the us exchange rate it was an incredible deal.”

“Interesting vintage shop on queen street I almost always manage to find something to buy that’s interesting. Their selection of vintage T-shirts may be a little small but there is some interesting quality stuff to be found as well as other interesting items in other sections of the store. It is well organized and the staff are nice and helpful.”

“Ransack is the best destination in town for vintage items and collectibles. The owner, Jesse, has a talent for finding this stuff, and I appreciate how welcome he makes you feel as you peruse through all of it.You'll more than likely end up picking up at least one item when visiting - and be sure to check the bin of vintage pins to look for some treasure.”
