“Second time ive been in and the owner was just as nice as the first. Even got a game of foosball in with him, had a great conversation. Great selection of shoes too. Fantastic shop, must see in Toronto!”
“Absolutely love this store, the staff were super friendly, there’s an amazing well curated selection, and it’s organized SO nicely! Dedicated racks for petite and plus size as well (sz 16+). Can’t recommend enough <3<3<3”
“Smashing IT!
The Handwork Department is a gem of a vintage store selling some amazing sought after items.
They have an amazing collection of vintage items from type writers, to camera, to kitchenware, to records and so much more.
Nestled in the heart of the Danforth where all the cool and hipster folks hang out, among the hustle and bustle of cafes and restaurants, why not take a walk inside and travel back in time.
You may just find something very charming that you'll fall in love with from the past!
Excellent customer service as well. The folks at the counter are there to help with any item of interest that you may have!”
“A true gem in Toronto! Repeat Boutique offers a beautifully curated selection of designer and unique pieces at unbeatable prices.
Francine, the owner, is incredibly friendly and helpful, making every shopping experience delightful. The store is well-organized and welcoming, with new arrivals daily, ensuring there’s always something fresh to discover. Whether you’re seeking a special outfit or just browsing, this boutique is a must-visit for fashion enthusiasts. Highly recommended!”
“Unfortunately, your shop has been used in scammer scheme! As i see, i'm not the only one, who they contacted.
One of the solution would be to place a temporary banner on your website, that will be telling about this situation, so the people would know.”
“This is a wonderful, fair-priced vintage store with a wide selection of vintage pieces. Everything from accessories, shoes, pants, shorts, dresses, shirts, leather (favourite) and even bathing suits. The shop has a charming private fitting room in the back with a wide mirror, so you can strut and get a good look at how any of the pieces look on you.
Melissa, the owner, let me know they'll be having a sale soon, in the next couple weeks to prepare for their fall season changeover (few weeks), and if you're a vintage fanatic, this is definitely a place to check out.
CHOSEN will also be at the Toronto Vintage Show at the Exhibition from Sept 20-21, so definitely recommend if you're into vintage, to stop by and check out their selection.”
“House of Vintage on Queen Street West is a true gem in Toronto’s fashion landscape. From the moment you step inside, you're immersed in a world of carefully curated pieces spanning decades—from the 1960s to the 1990s. That said, it’s worth noting that some items come with a higher price tag.
While the prices might be steep for casual shoppers, they reflect the store’s dedication to sourcing rare, high-quality vintage pieces and maintaining them to near-new condition.”

“The staff are very friendly, and there’s a wide variety of shoes and clothing on the first floor. This store definitely takes you back in time! The items are a bit pricey, but vintage pieces are always worth it.”
“What an amazing store. Beautiful pieces, bags, shoes all of it. It's such a beautiful store to walk through with changing designer items on a weekly basis. Every time I've been in Joan and Carmen have been so incredibly kind and helpful, regardless if I was just looking or asking about a price they have both gone out of their way to make sure, I had an amazing experience. I've bought a few pieces from here and will be back again. Even if it's just to talk about our Balenciaga City Bags.”
“The best consignment store I've been to/consigned with. The boutique is lovely and the staff are amazing. I've had success selling my items (and fairly quickly). Today I went to shop, and the prices are actually reasonable. I'm torn writing that since it's a hidden gem, IMO. Also, the items I've bought from there are in excellent condition, and the most recent bag is in basically brand new condition with the original authenticity card, dustbag, etc. The advisor helping me today (perhaps the owner? or manager?) was incredibly helpful and sweet, making the whole experience a lot of fun as well.”
“Went for the photobooth! It’s right at the front of the store and you line up going into the store so you don’t block the front door. Can keep shooting while other photos are printing, each strip takes about 5 minutes to print. Price was ~10$ I think, something super reasonable if otherwise :)”
“Roger is amazing!! I found two beautiful coats, and it was such a pleasure talking with him. His store has an incredible variety of pieces - it’s definitely the place to go. He also gives really great advice!”
“If we could give this place 10 stars we would!
Not only do I always find exactly when I want when I’m coming in here, customer service is the best in the neighbourhood. All three of these lovely ladies are always so helpful and friendly. A fantastic selection of both new and consignment items.
A true neighbourhood gem”
“I celebrated my birthday at Loved and Found recently with four other girlfriends. Michelle (the owner) and her staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had the loveliest evening ever! From a delicious appetizer spread paired with drinks, to scoring some amazing shopping finds, to making diner reservations for us at nearby Venga Cucina, I could not think of a better and more fun way to spend my birthday! I HIGHLY recommend the store and the experience!!”
“My new go-to luxury consignment store! I purchased a Prada bag from The Cat’s Meow online. I reached out to the store on Instagram first to confirm some details, Louise was so helpful and responded promptly. Very fast shipping and everything arrived in PERFECT condition. I’ll definitely be shopping here again!”
“The sales associate working today at 3pm was one of the loveliest people I have ever encountered in a retail environment. I’m so sorry I’ve forgotten your name, please know that you made my day!

“Amazing place to buy second hand clothes, the owner is very friendly and a lovely person. We had a nice chat with her about the store and how it opened. WILL be coming again”
“Klaxon Howl and its owner, Matt, are hands down one of the most stylish places I've ever been to. The store exudes great vibes, with good music and tasteful vintage pieces alongside Matt's elegantly crafted clothing.
Got a solid welcome and all the support needed, not only to try on some pieces but also to learn more about their materials, fit, and craftsmanship
It was an amazing experience at a sensational store!
Much respect! I'll definitely be back ????”
“The absolute sweetest staff at both locations. Very fairly priced a d beautiful choices. Pieces are in perfect condition and will provide years of further use. Definitely the place to go”
“I have made multiple purchases at Designer Exchange over the years; each time Nyla has gone above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I really appreciated the certificates of authenticity that she provided me for some bigger ticket items which gave me confidence. Her store is a staple in the Kingsway community and smells great.”
“If you love to dig, this is the place for you. The staff here is nice; I haven't had any issues with them. But like I said, you must like to dig to appreciate the potential of this store. There is A LOT of stock in a cramped space. Come with all the patience you can find, and you will definitely find something to go back home with.”
“Ransack is the best destination in town for vintage items and collectibles. The owner, Jesse, has a talent for finding this stuff, and I appreciate how welcome he makes you feel as you peruse through all of it.You'll more than likely end up picking up at least one item when visiting - and be sure to check the bin of vintage pins to look for some treasure.”
“Decent stuff, I guess. I was looking for a denim jacket and they didn’t have any. Very weird energy tho no one bothers to acknowledge you even though there’s barely anyone inside. So I just left without getting anything”
“A really well thought out vintage store, with even a line at opening on a random Wednesday. I found some great prices, for very good prices. Also, the music they play is awesome here. Could not recommend enough.”
“I found a few great pieces tonight and overall, I'm very happy with my experience at this shop. It was well organized, clean, and the items I tried on/ purchased were in great condition. I'd happily return to this store even though I'm not much of a thrifter- I find thrift stores are often overwhelming, disorganized, and messy. Bungalow offers a more curated, organized selection of items, which I appreciated and was happy to pay a little extra to have that experience.”
“Only vintage store I’ve found in the city that has some items with a sort of witchy feminine aesthetic. 4 stars because items can be extremely overpriced for the material/brand/vintage, but some are more reasonable and/or manageable with the extra 20% off if you follow them”

“Vintage depot has some great finds. The store is well organized and the staff are very friendly. Wide range of shirts, sweaters jackets and leather. Would recommend you stop by.”
“Definitely recommend! Stayed open later so I could pick up an order I placed. Order was packed so quick from when I placed the order and it was great condition and affordable. Thank you so much!”
