“Amazing vintage clothing selection at reasonable prices, super well curated and great customer service too. Will definitely come back often!

(note: many reviews left here are confusing this place with a similarly named cafe and not the vintage shop)”

Review July 2024

Proper-love this place! I pass this community-run charity shop practically everyday on my way back from the Y. This summer I have sourced some great, classic vinyl (Rickie Lee Jones, The Flock, Jacques Brel, Petula Clark, Grieg, Wagner, Beethoven, Mozart, et al), a selection of over-sized, colourful mugs with positive messages printed on them (used as small, indoor plant-pots), a hand-crated love-heart picture for my kitchen wall, a ring, bracelet, yoga-mat, a Yeats book of poetry, various pin badges that spoke to me, a large, padded, multi-pocketed HP backpack (big enough for laptop & clothes, etc. & perfect size for above-head plane locker) & two t-shirts in readiness for my Euro-tour in November (a classic blue check plaid & fabulous Hawaiian) - the list is endless. I have never paid more than $20 on any visit & all items have been in near-perfect condition. Do yourself a huge favour, check-out the store, shop local & support your community.”

“The staff is friendly and the store is clean and organized. Good deals can be found however don’t bother buying any electronics from this place. Literally every “apple” compatible piece of electronics they carry don’t work but I go across the street to the cell phone place and all their stuff works fine. Fortunately the staff refunded me as I showed them it didn’t work. My suggestion try it in the store before you leave if you are buying headphones/cables”

“Whenever my little one needs new clothes my first thought is to pop by this lovely store. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind and items are very reasonably priced. You can often find brand new clothes with tags on priced way lower than they retail even when on clearance. Items are always in good condition.”

“I sold my dining set to Guff and they were fantastic. Excellent customer service, pick up when they said they would be here, friendly delivery men, careful and respectful handling. I would highly recommend them.”

“This place is large and very well maintained! It is clean and the people are friendly. It is a little overpriced as far as thrift stores go so you must choose wisely. ?”

“Depending when you go you can find what you need, even for a bigger man. Though shoes are not in any bigger sizes than 13. Prices are good but could be better for a discount store I guess.”

“Go with time, patience and you will come out with several things. Quite tidy and the people who serve are very helpful. Very good prices.
On Tuesdays they have a discount for people over 60 and you can also bring clothes/things to donate in exchange for a discount coupon”

“Good quality goods for all ages. I wasn't expecting it to be as high end as it was given the location. Was disappointed they didn't take any of my items, including brand new ones, but did get a great quality dress which I didn't know I needed ?”

“I was able to find things that were slightly better than regular stores. However, there were a lot of clothes from fast fashion brands like Shein and Fashion Nova. I expected it to be a bit more curated, even if that meant that the prices would be higher. Overall good”

“Love this store! Easy to find, ample parking nearby, plenty of change rooms available, etc.

They have some really cute stuff and while some of their prices may seem higher than other stores, I think the quality and brands they carry help justify that. I do think they can be a smidge too pricey at times but there are more affordable options too. The staff here have also been wonderful every time I've interacted with them. I've both sold to them and bought from them and am happy with both services.

I also like that the store credit is stored digitally as I never have to worry about carrying yet another gift card in my wallet and risk losing it or forgetting it at home when coming to shop.

I also see on Instagram that they support a variety of different marginalized groups and I love this! They seem to be on the right side of history with their views. Unrelated but it feels good to support a business who cares.”

“A second-hand shop that sells what is known in Japan as hard-off clothing, tableware, home appliances, and books. The inside of the store isn't the cleanest, but they have a pretty wide range of products, and you can even buy a dryer in good condition for $7, so if you need something but want to keep it cheap, it's worth checking out. can be.
Also, when purchasing home appliances, a female store clerk would politely ask, ``Have you tested it?'' and ``You can test it at the booth over there.''”
