Great selection of pens, inks and fun stationary. The owner was very friendly and helpful, even though my group and I came the last hour and took up her time asking many questions. Will shop from here again :)

A tiny little hole in the wall stationery store. But they have the stuff I need. Good selection of pens. A great selection of stationary and more importantly what I went for ink. They don't have a huge selector of ink like Wonder pens but they did have what I needed and they had it in stock. So bravo to them

The staff is incredibly helpful and if you are a geek for pens and stationary, you should take note cause this is a place you should try to visit.

I’ve been wanting to write with a fountain pen for some time and quickly found that craft stores like Michael’s only carry low end tools for this. On my search I found out about Take Note, and I called to reserve my own. I went with my daughter and we were greeted with kindly service. Immediately I knew that this was the place for me to buy my stationary. Thank you to the staff up front and the owner for your time and great customer experience!

A decent stationery store with a good selection, despite its small size. The downfall is the staff: Some (the proprietor in particular) are great, friendly, and knowledgable. Some, on the other hand, are much less informed about the products they carry. One in particular is just rude, loudly chastising you for mentioning your experience to others (“you can actually modify this pen to get the experience you want!” “excuse me, *I’ll* do the talking here” [proceeds to just say no, not possible]). Really egregious and offensive.
A nice, albeit compact store: Fitting in with a stroller or wheelchair is challenging — and if a young woman with short dark hair is working, just leave.

I'm visiting Toronto from Pittsburgh, and since I had today free, I stopped by since they had 15ml bottles of Iroshizuku ink. Had to control myself to buy only what I came in for, but I still ended up getting a Preppy Wa.
It's a cozy, intimate little store in the Junction. There's a criminal lack of good stationery stores in Pittsburgh, so I was perhaps overly eager upon entering. They had a cup of Lamy Vistas of various nib sizes inked up with various inks, and each one was labelled with the ink and nib size. Didn't grab a picture, but it was extremely helpful and fun. One of the staff saw me poking about and immediately pulled another pad of fountain pen paper for me to test the pens on. Cannot say how incredible it is to test out nibs and inks before committing. Very lovely store with even lovelier staff.

This shop is a cozy little escape. It is small, peaceful and quiet, with every corner filled with a beautiful selection of stationary items such as notebooks, pens, games, and other desk accessories. The staff is kind and welcoming, making you feel like you’re visiting a friend rather than just shopping. A cozy and inspiring environment for any kind of artist!

Take Note is such a fantastic place to get gorgeous stationery and pens! They have a great selection of inks in a beautiful variety of colours. Shopping in person or on the website is always a pleasant experience.

Beautifully curated stationary store as well as kind and knowledgeable staff. I was surprised by their collection of Japanese paper stationary items. I spent a long time browsing and didn't leave empty handed.

I bought there a pencil sharpener that i found out later at home that it was not working for my bigger three sided pencils from EU. I called the store just before their closing time to see if I could return it. The owner apologized for recommending unsuitable sharpener and said I can return it or replace it with a better one, even if they are closed. I arrived about 10 minutes after closing, and she let me try another sharpener that worked. She even gave me 10 % discount.
