Surmesur came highly recommended to my wife from a client of hers, and we were both beyond happy with the final product. From going through color options and combinations, through the fitting and minor adjustments, Abhilasha was wonderful to work with at each step. Nothing but a good experience at Surmesur.

I used Surmesur for my grooms suit for my August 2024 wedding and had the pleasure of working with Bennett. I ended up getting a suit, tie, pocket square and cufflinks.
- Bennett was very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and gave helpful feedback throughout the whole process. This was the most important factor for me.
- The overall experience was very comfortable. The space is large and clean, and appointments were unhurried. It was easy to set appointment times online. Staff was always friendly and communicated very well. Timelines were well communicated and met.
Some minor things:
- I think it would have been helpful to see more suits to understand different options (e.g. half vs. full canvas)
- There doesn't appear to be any onsite parking, we used a Green P lot close by
Regarding price:
- In general I felt their prices were on the higher side, but I do think it was worth it for the groom suit. I might think twice about getting all the groomsmen suits there if I was sticking tightly to a budget

Abhilasha was absolutely amazing to work with. I was shopping for my wedding suit and she took the time to get to know me and my partner and our vision for the day. She provided great suggestions and was opened to feedback as well. She was professional, knowledgeable and personable. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an enjoyable and pleasant experience for suit shopping. 10/10

I’m not one to leave reviews, or buy a custom tailored suit for that matter… but wow, what a great experience at Surmesur! Abhilasha was awesome to work with and she nailed the fit for a good price. I was referred by my brother in law and ended up purchasing a tux for my own wedding. The experience was a lot of fun and definitely worth it. I’d post a photo of myself here but I better keep it a surprise for the bride! Thank you Surmesur!

My fiancé and I just had the best experience working with stylist Carly and tailor Gray. I had an entire bespoke suit made to fit, including very specific details and requests, and they made the design and fit work to my needs, going above and beyond. No detail was neglected and their care and support was appreciated for two nervous grooms. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Thank you Carly and Gray for making our special day even more special!

Based so far on the first fitting and session with Abhilasha - very pleasant consultation and measurements. My fiancé and I were welcomed with some great drink options and I found exactly what I was looking for! Remains to be seen how great the suit is, but from what I saw in the shop and the quality of their fabrics, I’m looking forward to seeing the end result!
Abhilasha came recommended by my wedding planner and was very professional and knowledgeable!
Update after the Tux came in the shop: Again, a great experience with Abhilasha. We got the adjustments all lined up, the fabric and quality is fantastic. I'm looking forward to the end result - the customized jacket lining was especially cool!

I had an amazing experience getting a suit for my wedding at Surmesur. It can be challenging to buy a men’s suit as a queer person but Abhilasha was so great - she totally got my vision and made it happen.
Such a positive experience from designing the suit to making adjustments. I would strongly recommend Surmesur and Abhilasha to anyone!
