Excellent products . Good experience shopping there. My only comment is it’s a little pricey.

Great grocery store. So many items you cant get anywhere else in the city. Love their premade meal ideas & they always have the best baked goods during holidays

For those who are at Egliton West and love practicality with great products, SummerHill is a great market option. The place has an area for fruit and vegetables, dairy products, non-alcoholic drinks, seeds (nuts, chestnuts and others), dried fruits, frozen foods and ready-to-eat foods, all of which are very fresh. They have two entrances, one on the avenue and the other on the back street. On the avenue there is an automatic door for wheelchair users and customers with low accessibility, on the back street, access ramps, parking for wheelchair users and automatic entry. The store has two floors and access via stairs and elevators. The spaces are beautiful and very well organized and the prices vary greatly between products.Summerhill is close to bus stops, Egliton metro station and several shops. It's very worth knowing.

Summerhills weekly price goug. They've raised the price for a box of cubed watermelon from $7.99 to $8.99. The price is already high but not for summerhill theyre dedicated to be the highest gougers in Toronto. Theyre also selling grapes for $6.99/lbs. I got to the cashier with a bag of grapes that are already prepackaged. Came to over $16! For grapes! We are forced to pay inflated prices but we need to stop buying things when they are absurd, there has to be a line. so i had them put them back. Cant wait to see what ridiculous price i see next week ?******New edit, had to go to this store in a pinch. My cars dead and now ive got no choice but to shop here....ive begun chefs plate deliveries since they are actually cheaper than shopping here but still need to get odds and ends.....newest shock of the day. $15.99 watermelon. On a plus note they reduced the almond milk from $7.50 to $5.99....still $1.50 over the expensive grocery stores prices for some unclear reason but i guess they just put the loss of those profits into the watermelon price. Theyve also gotten rid of the end of the day sales/going expired sales. These used to be the saving grace for ppl in the area that arent the 1%. Did they change management or something? I feel like a big shift happened recently where they went from high end prices to straight up gouching prices and they dont care if they dont cater to the whole community anymore.*************Editing my review. They are selling almond milk for $7.50....how you justify being a full $3.00 more than even the expensive grocery stores is beyond me...ya'll have taken it too far. $30 for packaged dinners, $7/$8 for watermelon CUBES....a small box of CUBES. You are officially taking advantage. Everytime i look at your prices theyre no longer luxery prices, they are, we are using inflation to be greedy prices. Im done shopping there. Ive be a loyal customer for a long time. I used to go every few days but its become shockingly clear when i spend $50 and walk out with 3 items. I go down the street to shoppers and have a full duffel bag full of groceries for $50. Shame on you. I hope summerhill gets investigated for false price inflation.************Expensive but its a nice neighbourhood grocery store. I like all the prepackaged fresh items they provide and at end of day often have sales.

What can I say, the management at this location is some of the best I’ve ever seen. Dane, the store manager gave me excellent customer service, and provided me with incredible recommendations for my dinner. My guests were very happy with all the options provided and they will definitely come back to this location to visit him for the same level of Customer Service that I received. Hope to see him soon!

The Summerhill banana and chocolate bread I brought had only a weak banana flavor, which is contrary to what is said on the packaging (banana is the first ingredient). Also, I bought a 50% off chicken curry sandwich, but after microwaving, it released a smell so rancid it spread through the whole kitchen. They should have gotten rid of food that had become inedible instead of continuing to sell it with a discount. Definitely wouldn't return here!

I have stopped coming to Mt Pleasant location because of mismanagement, so as soon as this location opened up we decided to shop there. Last Wednesday (April 26th, around 4:20 pm) I did my groceries there and bought the same items I usually get including Mush overnight oats for my 2yo. Mind you, we already had an issue with moldy/expired produce at this and Mt pleasant location. When I opened the oats I felt a strong sour smell coming from it. It went bad! I don’t know if that’s the batch they got but my guess is that they kept this product in a wrong place so it went bad before expiration date. I come to Summerhill for quality products, and instead it’s always moldy/expired/they keep things in wrong temperature. A couple of months back I’ve purchased protein chips that were 6 months expired, but we noticed it as soon as we came out of the store. I decided not to write a bad review that time and accepted an apology from the manager. Please be careful when you shop there.Update: I have contacted their customer service as they suggested in their reply below. They have ignored it. All you need to know about their quality control.

Good selection of prepared meals; however selection of grocery products is limited and overpriced (even compared to Whole Foods).
