horrible customer service on the phone! I called to inquire about some items and the person on the other line sounded very unfriendly and impatient kept putting me on hold and even raised her voice at me. Because of her cold abrupt attitude I will take my business elsewhere. This is a poor reflection on your store, I hope the manager takes note of this.

I’ve had an excellent experience from phone calls to inquire and get advice in replacing dad’s back rest of his walker, to special order, to install. Robert is the man for this service and he did a fantastic job. And so did Cheryl for helping me find devices which will be helpful for senior with limited mobility. Every employee that I interacted with in the past couple of weeks were friendly and helpful. The store is clean and organized, easy to get to, with plenty of parking. Highly recommend!

Lots of parking, helpful staff, with a clean and organized store offering multiple options of everything you could need. The fitter, Nellie, was super knowledgeable and helpful and very personable. She took her time with us answering all of the questions we had and showed us how to properly wear and care for compression stockings. Will definitely be returning here in the future!

My second time at Starkman's, looking to buy compression socks. It's a large section and I was helped by a saleswoman as a I started browsing. Found the correct compression was 20-30mmHg and I was told the socks were $60. When the saleswoman scanned the socks at checkout, they came up at $120. The manager was confident that $120 was right because when socks are returned they end up in the wrong box, whatever that means. OK... but I wasn't prepared to pay that much and decided to walk. The manager offered to "take off the tax", said that I could claim them on my insurance and that I could get the lower 10-20mmHg compression instead which were $60 (we already decided they didn't squeeze enough). Pretty much anything to get me to buy. They even gave me their business card, I guess so the lady would get the commission if I came back. I was very turned off by these high pressure tactics and their pushiness seemed very fishy. Now that I'm home I can see these socks sell for less than $50 and I was able to get a very nice Made-in-Canada pair of running-specific socks (20mmHg) for $50. I'll take a pass on Starkman's in the future because of their high pressure tactics and sky-high prices. I give two stars because I went there another time and the service was good.

Starkman’s is a great place for all things medical supplies. The staff is so friendly and go out of their way to help you find what you’re looking for! Especially Cheryl who is so sweet and exceeded all my expectations! I will be definitely coming here again for health care supplies!

I went to Starkmans today and was getting eyed up and down by the staff like I was stealing stuff! Being followed around and watched! Staff very rude not knowledgeable about much of anything trying to sell me products that wasnt what I wanted. My advice go elsewhere!

I know this is a bit wordy and may seem irrelevant, but please read to the end....you'll get it.Was hit by a driver who changed lanes in the intersection where this store is located. South East corner of Bathurst and Davenport.This driver looked back after hitting me, and then vehemently hit me again....sounds crazy right?The next day I went into Starkmans as they have cameras that may have captured the event and thought that if I had footage of this dangerous driver's actions it would be good as the story was just too crazy for insurance adjusters to believe.The cashier was super receptive to me and my request.The manager was sympathetic and understanding.The owner took me into an office, found the footage, allowed me to video their video of the event.The person who hit me (twice) was found 100% at fault because of the care of the entire staff at Starkmans.Caring with honesty, integrity, in addition to going above and beyond...what else can be expected of a member of our community.Starkmans is the only place I shop for my family's health care accessories. They have earned it.
